This is a sure-fire recipe for a long lingering death as the supporter base continues to age. Of the 7500 season ticket holders we have at this minute, what % are non-concession holders? I bet we struggle to reach the pathetic 4000 we had last season.

I've just looked it up as a result of what you wrote and we didn't play them 1949 at all. We did 47-8 and we did 49-50 so I'm assuming out must have been one of them. My Dad spoke of it a few times, I never queried it. He must have got the date wrong. That's a bugger, I was brought up on that story.
