  1. I don't think he's talking about you Chaddy!
  2. It all depends on their signings. The team that wins promotion doesn't take the field the next season, there's money to be spent!
  3. I notice you didn't mention Brereton! Better late than never!
  4. And to jump from there to claiming some expect us to be "strutting the division like Man City do the Premiership" is not hyperbole?!!!
  5. OK---who on this message -board said they wanted us to be strutting the division like Man City do the Premiership? And "yes' I know what hyperbole means. I've seen plenty of it on here for a start. And that's another example.
  6. Massive hyperbole there. Are you on the wind-up?
  7. I've said it before but the answer could be that was what the financial report commissioned by Venkys in the summer recommended. The seem the type to follow it to the letter not having a worthwhile view of their own ie "confused".
  8. That is just so revealing. It also brings back so many bad memories! ?
  9. Please don't tell me TM thinks Chapman is a long-term investment!!! That is ridiculous!
  10. I couldn't do the PM's job but it doesn't stop me thinking she's made an absolute bollocks of it!
  11. Well if TM is to be believed, speaking in the LT, we ARE signing Chapman next week!
  12. if we can keep them all.
  13. We are the only team in the top ten with a minus goal difference, minus 4. Even those clubs with the same number of points are several goals ahead. Story of this season, concede easy goals and fail to take our chances.
  14. That was one game though. In any case no-one, or hardly anyone, is now clamouring for Brereton to play. Its generally accepted that he needs to play under-23's or be loaned to a Div 1/2 side to see if he comes off there. By contrast, King left and has shown he can do it in the Premiership and that we were daft to let him go cheaply and daft not to give him more chances.
  15. Anyone who saw him in the FA Cup against superior opposition surely suspected he was under-utilised and his next club would be the beneficiaries?
  16. It'll be like signing a new player!
  17. Best Rovers performance of all time?------Ludek Miklosko v Man Utd May 1995! Take a bow that man!
  18. Re the game against Arsenal, Pickering had an absolute stormer that day.
  19. Well, I just have to defer to you guys in terms of memory loss! It won't be the last time!
  20. The one with the 16000 fans was definitely a night game and on Sky.
  21. Exactly! That's what you do if you weren't there. First port of call is Sky highlights, goals and little else, then something like Briggsy's site so you can savour a bit of the atmosphere, connect with the fans etc (only if we win of course!). Completely harmless.
  22. Agree with the Shearer game against Leeds----truly awesome. For best performance though, I'd say Douglas in 1963-4 when he was the best player in England. You could literally focus on a dozen of his games in that season and struggle to separate them. Spurs at Ewood maybe? Worst, Delfuenso on his debut and every game thereafter.
  23. Lenihan into central, defensive mid-field? Bit of crunch in there along with Reed and Travis?
