  1. They where a lot slower on the uptake than Blackpool.
  2. Show your true love how much they mean to you. Get to the Hawthorns on the 14th.
  3. They won't be on their own.
  4. My point being, the fans that have made the away support so good, are they the ones that have got tickets. There is a responsibility for the ones that have got tickets to make their presence known. I have every faith this will happen.
  5. I've known Rovers make rasher signings.
  6. I just hope that all the lucky buggers that got a ticket sings their hearts out for the Rovers. We cannot carry passengers on the field, or in the stands.
  7. Battys injury looked worse than the one for Phillips. He had been feeling the back of his leg the whole second half. Why don't our coaching staff notice these things ?
  8. Just not in their best positions !
  9. The game should have been a lot easier than it was. We had total control, until we lost our two best players in Batty and Phillips to injuries within a few minutes of each other. This let Wednesday back into the game, but even though it was a nervous last ten minutes, we still made chances. Wharton had a game to forget, although I thought he looked injured from the start. But as always it's the result that matters. Gent had a good game when he came on for Batty. I hope Battys injury is not a hamstring, but it did look like it.
  10. I would want him to stop talking bollocks to the media.
  11. But the strikers are more likely to be injured or suspended than the keeper. We are digressing again. I will state again. I am happy with our dealings this window ! End of my comments on this topic.
  12. Yes, they are not remotely good enough, but they are what we have got. The original error in relying on sub-standard players is afait-a-complee. But in our financial position we have to make do with what we have. I would suggest that the same will happen with another striker. I am dissapointed with the situation, but things could be worse. Get down to Ewood tonight and look at the future.
  13. Do you honestly think anyone will take any of our stand-bye keepers ? Anyway back to my original statement. As it stands I am happy enough with our business this window
  14. I have booked a hotel room near Wembely for the play-off week-end.
  15. You would have thought Mowbray would have already done that. But no he bought Pears. I agree entirely that we need a better second keeper, but in our present financial situation, I would say if we do spend money it could be used better than getting a player that is unlikely to play for the first team.
  16. So are you advocating that we should buy another keeper to go along with the four we already have, incase the best one of them gets injured ?
  17. They are in a false position. Far to high.
  18. I am making my statement about what has actually happened at the moment. I do not speculate on something that may or may not happen in the future. My crystal ball is off-line.
  19. It will be great if the squad can be improved further. But if nothing else happens, I will be happy enough.
  20. Come on you nobbers 0-1 !
  21. At the moment we have strengthened our squad. That is the main aim of the January window.
  22. You need to show your grandson the error of his ways, and stamp it out immediately.
  23. Aren't Southampton the nearest team to Bournemouth ?
  24. I remember seing Ted MacDougall playing for Bournemouth, before his move to manure.
