  1. You must have enjoyed measuring them
  2. Spain have looked good getting to the Final and have proven so in the Final. England now a very remote shot to win. PS Spain has some gorgeous looking women in that side.
  3. Phenomenal effort let down by letting Connolly run free twice. Really proud of the lads and thought we could hold on after Gallagher scored. Pears played really well.
  4. Hull not doing to us what we did to Rotherham- yet. All Championship games level at half time.
  5. I have heard a river of sewerage about professional football but nothing about bent referees since the 1970s. English clubs were victims in the European Cup back then.
  6. We know we are going to see subs tomorrow. Does Ennis get the first half or second? I guess the Batty injury means JRC at right back with Brittain on the bench as cover for both full backs. JDT will have looked closely at Hull and will pick a team to beat them so we might see a bit of a twist. That said, Rosenior has tried two different formations so far this season so despite their romp against Sheffield Wednesday their selection and tactics are a bit unpredictable particularly with the recruitment of Twine this week. Hull defense will give us chances so I suspect Ennis might start ahead of Dolan.
  7. I am expecting a much better game than last season's 0-0. Could be a bit of a classic. We ought to have enough to win it if we cut out the defensive mistakes which we have been prone to by letting in the 3 goals so far this season.
  8. I suspect not agreeing to reverse the Luton fixture will harm them. No game this weekend so will remain in the bottom 3. Games coming up Villa, Spurs both H, Forest A Man U H, Newcastle... Can see them getting stuck down there and when like that having a game in hand is not much use.
  9. A side issue but a win on Saturday will not go amiss in helping Rovers look an attractive proposition for any prospective members of the Swag 4.
  10. Almost more intriguing than the Batth saga with Rovers is what on earth is going on at Sunderland. Even with Mowbray in charge they were well set to go on a promotion push but the club seems to have imploded. Whatever has Dack put in their tea?
  11. https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/man-utd-wolves-premierleague-apology-30703623?utm_source=mirror_newsletter&utm_campaign=football_newsletter2&utm_medium=email PGMOL apologise for error in not awarding Wolves the penalty.
  12. The thing that stood out for me was the way Wolves were stronger in one on one challenges than Man U all over the park. Either Wolves have had an exceptional pre-season conditioning what is a big and quick side or Man U can be bullied. On that showing Wolves are are off my bottom three list and the worry level at Goodison must have gone up a notch. Or Man U could be the big 6 team that finishes in the bottom half. Pleasant dreams...
  13. This Hull side can play a bit so should be a footballing contest. Rosenior will set them up with a game plan to beat us. Will be a good and different sort of challenge after Rotherham. I expect the starting eleven to be more like the team that finished at Rotherham than the one that started.
  14. Saint Maximin is the only sub 30 year old off to collect his pension as far as I can recollect.
  15. Not his fault but zero reflex reaction.
  16. Remember two play off places last season were taken by Boro and Coventry who were both in relegation slots in October. All that can be said conclusively is two games have been played so far. But the current Southampton defence is still leaky...
  17. Armstrong has scored one which glanced his head without him knowing and two penalties. If Martin doesn't use whatever is given him from transfer fees to buy a completely new defence, Southampton are going to struggle.
  18. Hope your health is stabilised now and you are enjoying life. It will be a weird experience for you to have Rovers visiting Harrogate!
  19. Liked the way Szmodics had enough presence of mind to run back to half way after both his goals. Any celebration would surely have a second yellow. JDT instilling excellent discipline.
  20. Sheffield Wednesday in charitable mode at Hull yesterday but Hull are a very neat footballing side and don't let Tufan shoot!
  21. Two games, opposition benches three yellows and one straight red. We know JDT is brilliant at press conferences- looks like he is brilliant at touch line banter as well! What is Danish for sledging?
  22. This is somewhat over the top. We were very dominant, won a penalty and missed it and then gifted both Rotherham goals with mistakes I doubt either Szmodics or JRC will repeat (hopefully). Three takes Dolan twice in front of an open goal neither had the athleticism nor presence of mind to put an awkward ball on the target. For a striker like JDT, that is far more likely to cost Dolan his place than his general poor decision making. I wouldn't write him off but he hasn't caused JDT any sleepless nights about what to do now Ennis is fit and when Sigurddson is fit. We haven't really seen those two and there are four more bodies in the Swag bag so jury is out on this transfer window which has 18 days left. Wharton put in three brilliant tackles I didn't think he had in him quite apart from the assist for Szmodics first. Ten men or not, last season no way would we have rescued a point from that game. For once our use of the ball stretched and exhausted the ten men which was great to.see too. And boy we will be livid if one of our's gets a red like that Rotherham lad did.
  23. Should have been given the penalty to take
  24. He missed a horror of a penalty for Chile
