And yes I do think Adam has the potential to be an all time great. His shimmies and passes catch the eye but his ball winning tackling stats for Palace last season were so good as to be almost surreal. Bask to the last 15 minutes v Chelsea, Chelsea were so dominant because they were mostly playing it around Adam, not trying to go through his territory....

Watched chunks of their Oxford game. Hull started fast, Gelhart knows how to attack the near post effectively and McBurnie still knows how to be in the right place at the right time. Other than that these are a lot less good than WBA and Birmingham. We competed well with those and conceded goals VAR would have taken minutes reviewing. Going to Mkm (don't go to MK Dons by mistake) I am not as pessimistic as others, lose and I will be.

A bit of balance- Opta missed the early save from Alebiyosu when in truth he had two unmarked Rovers he should have passed to for a tap in so the stats are wrong. After we scored we had much the better chances for all the Birmingham possession. I saw the triple late substitution with dread and it cost us. De Neve should not have been beaten to have allowed the Brum player to get into the area and Miller was rash challenging him when he was in the area. And was it De Neve's rubbish corner which set up the Brum winner? A real sickener losing a game we had won on 90 minutes.

I am certain their tax advisors in India would never have sanctioned this.

And every one of those events will have earned agents a nice fee. So it might not have been multiple ownership but more a case of absent careless owners and agent Pasha haymaking. If Lowe has the owners' ear then it would appear Pasha has tried to further increase his grip on the club by removing a mole as he would see him and has at least half-failed. This would suggest Pasha is not entirely trusted to run Rovers by whichever member(s) of the quartet still takes any notice of their Blackburn subsidiary.

The Venky's 200m++ losses haven't vanished into thin air. The money has gone from India into football pockets. If you simply look at the money trail you have billionaires in India who won't particularly notice those losses and an agent network around Blackburn firmly attached to the teat. Presumably that network has some leverage which means Venky's can't or won't walk away. The EFL has far more problematic clubs than Rovers to worry about so Rovers can be a handy conduit for whatever. The original plan was to effect agent ownership of PL players but that got scotched so agent interest in having Rovers in the elite was no longer so great. Now it is all hunky dory in the Championship for the network so long as we don't accidentally get promoted to the Premier League where the public spotlight is very different... Just a guess.
