Being a dull Darrener Andy I had to read it twice but nearly wet myself when the penny dropped.
-
I have been reliably informed that they are indeed cousins and that Dave Sheron is still very much pulling Suhails strings.
-
Is Dave Sheron the brother of our under 23 coach Mike? I'm sure I saw it somewhere but I can't find any evidence to support it.
-
Can you just explain the difference between the two?

Wayne Rooney said yesterday he hoped Mel Morris had a sleepless night for his part in Derby's demise. Our absent owners have ruined our club, pissed all over Jack Walkers legacy and still some of our supporters are beholden to them and even worse trust them. I wouldn't give them the time of day.

What we haven't seen for months though Den is the high press and intensity in our play. I can recall the performance at Stoke when I likened it to watching a Mark Hughes team. Grit, determination, aggression was a real feature of the ten wins in eleven games, most of which had clean sheets. Since January/February I have seen very little of these qualities. We have actually looked unfit, slow and ponderous. I'm baffled as to how this can happen. -

In Mowbrays attempt to blame the atmosphere and fans on the shocking performance he has come up with contradiction #557. On Friday he praised the fans for their support but we were rewarded with an insipid, uninspiring performance. Yesterday's performance was as bad but Mowbray attaches blame to us but it was essentially the same players with not too many youngsters as he said. There is a common denominator here and it certainly isn't the fans. -

Just watching Forest and they are everything we were for a couple of months earlier this season. Intensity, great press, commitment and pace to counter. I am really coming round to the opinion that something has gone on at Brockhall/Ewood for this collapse to be as catastrophic as it has. I heard from a reliable source who is on the training ground daily that the training has been poor and the players, in general are bored with it. There is very little attention paid to shape and set pieces. -

I honestly don't know where to start about today and perhaps more worryingly the future. Today was nondescript, tepid and had all the hallmarks of a disinterested bunch, particularly in the first half. To be truthful though I'm not really hurting too much about today but the real worry for me is the future. This has been nearly eleven years in the making but I truly believe that we are going to have even more despair next season. The number of out of contract and loan players who won't be here means that pretty much fifteen players will be needed and given that we don't appear to be offering even average Championship wages we will be really scraping the barrel with our in comings. The ground is in a real state of disrepair, a dwindling number of die hards and rumours of training ground shenanigans again to me paints a bleak future for Rovers. It's incredible really when you consider we were second in the league a few short months ago and a decent chance of reaching the promised land and riches of the PL. Reality has really bitten for me today and I honestly don't have any hopes for the future. FOV -

Anybody expecting Dack to start is going to be disappointed again. It's incredible that we could be in a playoff position at 4.55 pm after the wretched, awful results of the last few months. Conversely we could be 11th. And that to me will be the story of the season, a season that promised so much but ultimately failed us all miserably. Is your glass half full of half empty? 😁😁😁 -
Yes I see it that way too. It's akin to Ferguson who ruled the roost in pretty much every area of the club and became untouchable, invincible almost. The previous owners perhaps were prepared to give him that kind of latitude because they understood his value to the club.
-
I firmly believe that if he gets on the plane to India he will get a new deal simply because these owners don't have the bollocks to sack him face to face. The whole club needs exorcising with the cabal of Mowbray, Venus, Waggott and Pasha confined to the history books. I would include the owners in that list if there was a realistic chance of them going.

Where I was there were quite a few 'get behind team' types who were clearly looking to argue with anybody who had the temerity to criticise Mowbray or any players. But on Peterborough station and on the train after the game it was pretty unanimous that he has run his course and needs to go. -
There is some suggestion in an article in The Athletic that Dyche's popularity had waned and his training methods were not to the liking of several senior players. And on one of their message boards quite a few are saying that behind the scenes he wasn't too popular with the non football staff being described as rude to them. I still can't believe the timing of this and the fact he recently signed a new, bumper deal along with his staff. Have you heard anything longsiders?

What really got to me today despite the idiotic Edun was the lack of intensity and tempo. At times I thought it was walking football and it was relatively easy for Peterborough to play against. I (perhaps naively) thought we would press high up the pitch and put struggling Peterborough under pressure, much like we did during our excellent run but it just didn't happen. In fairness though we were really dropped in it by Edun who took two of the softest yellow cards you are likely to see, the second of which was from his awful first touch giving the ball away. I was amazed he was starting after being out for nearly three months and, to my knowledge not playing a game. And why was Nyambe taken off again to enable us to go to a back four? Giles has been shocking for us and, one cross apart showed nothing But he went to left back, a position Wharton could comfortably have filled. But that's Mowbray all over and one of the reasons we have capitulated so, so badly. -
Stone and Woan have gone too. From that you have to think they have somebody lined up. It might be one of: Allardyce Coyle Kean Laws Ternant Warnock 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Premier League season 21/22

I just checked the date to see if tis April 1st. That is sheer lunacy and makes our owners decision to sack Allardyce almost rational. I wonder if they would be interested in Mowbray? 😂😂😂 -
Attendances: A cause for concern

Somebody should show this to Waggott and advise him that this is the best approach to try and garner support from the local youngsters. -

I remember watching the trial updates every day Andy and seeing what those horrible little t***s did subsequent documentaries left a profound impression on me about intolerance and hate. I recall Mrs Lancaster saying she thought they did it because they were jealous as Sophie and her boyfriend were different, not the cloned, tracksuited, baseball cap wearing her killers were.

I saw several documentaries and dramas and her courage and determination was terrific. RIP Mrs Lancaster.
