It wouldn't be a surprise if he got say 7. I'd be quite surprised if he got more than the 9 he managed last season. I dont see him as a 15 goal a season striker. Even if he did, we still need far more unless everyone starts chipping in from all over the pitch which they haven't done to date.

Depends on the fee he'd fetch and who' would be brought in to replacement. Difficult to gauge as there's been no obvious interest in him to date.

If no-one leaves I dont think we need any more defensive or midfield options. Desperately need a decent right winger and at least one more striker who can chip in towards the goal tally. Someone posted a preferred first X1 a while back which boasted a grand total of 20 League goals between them last season. Ohashi and Gueye are both far better than Gallagher in their own way but probably still won't get you more than 5-10 goals each. We need a lot more firepower and I think VI has more or less admitted as such.

Humphries and Aspinall both out. Could maybe have predicted that. Their opponents are both terrific young players. If they're on top form you've got a match on your hands.

Usyk was terrific. 38 years old as well. Physically he 's a freak. One of the best of all time I'd say.

If Pasha went in goal you'd say he was better than Pears. 🙂

I know Everton are a week behind us in terms of preparation but that's not at all what I was expecting. In a good way.

Very good player. Extremely under-rated because he came through the ranks.

They didn't buy into whatever he was asking of them for his first six and a half games and ultimately that cost us any chance of the play offs.

I'm not suggesting K Hod is an apologist for the Club at all. I haven't seen the minutes for the last meeting but in the meeting or two before that I complimented him on seemingly being the only one prepared to ask a difficult question or two. I do think the Forum is far too soft on the Club in general given what's happened in the last 3 years or so. K Hod seems to particularly resent any criticism of the FF as a body and that's fine, its his prerogative as a member. Specifically on the shirts every year you'll probably get some people who think they're atrocious, some who think they're absolutely fantastic and some who think they're a bit "meh". If you think they're atrocious you should be allowed to say so - it's a free country. In general if a lot more people think they're atrocious than fantastic then the Club are probably doing something wrong. If it's vice versa then the person who doesn't like them is going to have to lump it. I can't stand the pink shirt personally but I acknowledge it seems to have been generally very popular. I think this year's shirts are far worse. It's an anniversary year and they needed to be really special and they're particularly poor imo. That said Im not half as annoyed by the Colours as the general lack of acknowledgment of the anniversary, the fact we're wearing away colours at home and the change to the halves which all seem to be an obvious watering down of the expectation we'll always play in our traditional colours. Maybe not the most pressing thing to complain about under this ownership. Just another thing.

What as in (for example) "Venky's/ Steve Kean/ Waggott/ Pasha/Gestede they're not really for me but it's fair enough if other people like them" Whilst you seem completely happy for people on here to have a broad range of opinions on anything you seem completely intolerant of any criticism of anything that's said at the Forum and want to take your bat and ball home anytime anyone says anything critical. We all get that everyone gives up their time for free etc and we are all appreciative of that but no-one forces you to do it and you have to accept that not everyone will agree with what the Club say or do or the responses all the time. In fact probably not very often in the current climate.

Before he left at least he was a better defender than Brittain. We'd need a good RW but we need one of those anyway with Dolan leaving. Incidentally I noted a site online estimating Nyambe was on 4k p.w. when he was here. No wonder he was desperate to leave. I'd imagine Dolan was on something similar, maybe adjusted upwards slightly for inflation.

Also, it's a football kit, I dont want a pictorial representation of the town on it, but if they had decided that images were essential they should have related to our footballing history, Bob Crompton, Clayton and Duggie, Faz, Simon Garner, Tony Parkes, Jack, Kenny, Shearer etc. Not Darwen Tower and the fucking Wainwright Bridge. They really couldn't have got it more wrong if they'd tried.

In a normal year the home kit would have been OK apart from the changed halves but the lack of reference to the Anniversary is an absolute disgrace. The Green and yellowish kits are absolutely hideous. No proper badge on either, they might as well be cheap imitation knock offs. I completely disagree with the poster above - along with the pink kit last year these are 3 of the worst kits we've ever had. Macron/whoever is picking them need sacking off. Sorry if it sounds like I'm picking on the FF again but did they get chance to pass comment on this year's kits?

We're the last Club to be in a position to complain about that! (Tin hat on) If Eustace was interested in Brittain I'd accept Nyambe (still only 27) plus £2m cash.

What happened to marketing the home kit? If flogging a few extra shirts is the only metric then we should play the opening home game in that horrible dark green kit - that should shift a few more of them. It's a constant dumbing down and erosion of traditions and standards, drip, drip, drip and people appear to be lapping it up. They've already changed the halves on the home shirt, now we're having to play in away colours at home to suit the opposition. I hope any-one who doesn't mind the switch doesn't have the temerity to complain when we eventually unveil a non halved home kit. After all it's only a shirt.
