  1. I’m still reeling from that going on a date kit launch promo video
  2. Win, lose or draw it doesn’t matter there’s far bigger issues at play off the pitch here. Not for the first time under this regime the off the field antics overshadow the football. A 10-0 win and Mowbray signing a new deal would be a terrible day, a 10-0 defeat and Mowbray leaving would be a great day.
  3. They’d need to pay me more than that.
  4. 🤣🤣🤣. Reminds me of when a couple of lads in Cardiff (for either the fa semi v Arsenal or league cup final) thought our mate was Alan Stubbs he played up to it as well. So if there’s anyone on here who thought you met Alan Stubbs in Cardiff then sorry.
  5. Same old mistakes by the club. Tried and tested formula from the club whether it’s season tickets, ticket promotions, new kits. Make a mistake, learn nothing and then double down on the initial mistake.
  6. I think the Lord Acton quote "All power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely” could apply to Mowbray. He’s been the king of his own fiefdom for 5 long tedious years now. During which at times some of his loyal subjects have almost deified him for nothing more than mediocrity. During his unchallenged reign he’s had hopeless owners, spineless local media, his mate that he hired as his boss, an ape apathetic fanbase ground down by 12 years of misery. His ego and self importance has grown and grown to the point ewood is barely big enough to fit his big head in. Now some of the lowly peasants have revolted in the most minuscule way and he just can’t handle it. Toys firmly out of the pram. His long time coming departure can’t come a day too soon.
  7. The thing is this outburst isn’t out of character it’s just the people who have been blind to his obnoxious sulking personality can now see it. If anything has come out of his recent interviews and behaviour it is at least everyone can now see what a few have been saying for years in the face of all this decent honourable bloke tripe.
  8. She’ll clearly have fonder memories of Mowbray’s time than I ever will but I thought she summed things up well. Ps. I feel it’s important to warn people after they finish their chat about 30 mins in fairly soon after moggadon starts prattling on. As soon as I heard captain charisma I tried to exit the page but he kept coming through on my phone. Nightmare
  9. Was there at least a hearty booing at full time. Or just the usual shrug of the shoulders.
  10. I reckon at most clubs he’d have been sacked after the 4th defeat in 11 games in division 3
  11. I believe it’s in Farrington not too far from where the rovers have played at Lancashire fa hq. Not sold on this idea really especially as likely to be a nail in the coffin of current out grounds like bpool, aigburth and Southport. Plus if it’s where I’m picturing (behind that industrial estate where they build trucks etc) then it’s hardly well served by trains etc.
  12. Even though I have a ticket I won’t be going. Just can’t bring myself to watch them. On the one hand £27 down the drain but on the other an extra £2 for colne v Clitheroe. While the quality will be lacking I’m viewing it as £29 for a live football match where I can pretty much guarantee the players will give 100%. The same definitely cannot be said for rovers.
  13. Hopefully 4 games left of Mowbray. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
  14. Plus I’m sure the ECB are asking can he make a quick 20.
  15. Hope he doesn’t play for England with my Lancashire hat on. But he’s the only English spinner that can spin the ball.
  16. God I hope so. The natural order resumes. Speaking of which I genuinely never saw a Burnley shirt in Clitheroe from the 90s until effectively their promotion. See a few these days. 🤮. On that note grew up with loads of manure/lpool shirts but recently, literally today, noticed loads of citeh shirts. Clearly they’ve been at the apex long enough it’s filtered down to the sticks.
  17. Even if it was £30k a year the manner in which he’s played since is a disgrace but when he’s on that sort of money shows what sort of character he is just to down tools
  18. At the time I didn’t want anyone out to disrupt the freak set of results we were having. But the way Rothwell has played since he’s clearly spat his dummy out about not moving and clearly not trying. Piss poor for a man probably on 500k to a million a year
  19. Lancs on top vs Kent. Ben Compton carried his bat and straight back in to bat. If he gets another big knock the brains at the ECB will start looking at him without realising the cc is so devalued it’s an under strength Lancs attack and these lads end up playing for England without ever facing an international bowler. Even doctors and plumbers in the Lancs league 30 years ago used to face better a few better a season than modern professionals in the county championship. If he was facing jimmy and saqib who knows the ECB might actually learn something about the lad. But no. Bailey (who’s no slouch at county level) will probably be the best bowler he’s likely to face all season. Especially with that fatty key getting promoted to a position well beyond his capabilities a player from Kent in pole position.
  20. Even if this lot do a Venkys and turn Burnley into a total shambles they’ll always be 12 years of misery behind us and unlikely to catch up.
  21. Not many can say this but even with 3 wins from 19 he’s survived worse. I think he’s as unsackable as you know who.
  22. End of June ffs was hoping mid to late May at the latest. We’re going to finish 10th marking one of the biggest capitulations going and he’s going to talk himself into a new contract isn’t he. If that happens I’m done.
  23. When does Mowbray’s contract actually expire? Last match is the 7th of May but presumably there's a separate date when it expires
  24. Before potting dyche I thought they had a decent chance of staying up. Dingles have West Ham, Southampton, wolves, Watford, villa, spurs, villa again, Newcastle. All things are relative at the bottom but there’s plenty of points to be had there. Everton have Leicester, Liverpool, Chelsea, Leicester again, Watford, Brentford, palace, Arsenal. Not much for them but suppose would have said there was nothing for them vs Man U.
  25. He’s come out with numerous incendiary comments over the years particularly when he knows he’s falling short. I wish I’d have compiled a list of all the ridiculous, at times Kean esque, things he comes out with for when people need reminding after a couple of wins what a bellend he is.
