  1. No shots at all from us in the first 30mins
  2. FFS Pickering. Going to be tough to get anything now.
  3. Ha, that's the only stat we needed. Hull are winning this, Twine free kick to boot.
  4. ---------------------Pears Brittain---Carter---Hyam---Pickering ------JRC-------Travis-----Wharton ----Hedges----Ennis----Szmodics Could maybe switch Trav for Tronstad but I'd go with the above.
  5. Good question that. Probably just my terrible memory. I never feel confident we'll score penalties though.
  6. Away on holiday so missed the whole game. Disappointed when I saw 2-2 but to see we came from 2 down is encouraging. Didn't realise Szmodics missed a pen though. We really need a decent penalty taker, feels like we've not had one in years.
  7. I thought Garrett had a good game but he did fade a bit in the second half but then seemed to get back into it a bit for the last 10-15mins. Also though Brittain had a decent game, not sure where he ended up (in the new JRC RB/CM role by the looks) Gilsenan is obviously very good with the ball and technically gifted but he's going to need to put a bit of muscle on, as you say very wiry. Lacks pace though. Adam Wharton was on and off, a few moments of magic but some disappointing play as well. Full credit to Walsall though, they gave us a good game and had a blatent penalty not given (or it looked it from where I was sat) and the ball out wide for their second looked superb (going to need a replay to confirm though)
  8. Sounded like Ennis was going to start and basically see how long he could play for. Assume he'll start and get at least 45mins and see what he's like at half time.
  9. ---------------------Pears Brittain---Carter---Wharton---Batty ----Buckley----Garrett----Wharton ----Hedges-----Ennis-----Gilsenan
  10. Why are ours the only highlights from all championship games yesterday that aren't available on the skygo app? Sky can just f*** off
  11. Great to pick up the 3 points today 🔵⚪ Absolutely made up for Leonard. 👏
  12. Wonder if Ennis will get on for the last 15-20mins?
  13. Yeah I don't think they need him but stranger things have happened
  14. Travis is in the squad today, so can't be anything imminent to Southampton.
  15. He would be beyond stupid to sign a new Spurs contract. If he doesn't get to move to Bayern this summer, he'll have a whole host of options next summer, despite his age.
  16. I was thinking this morning he might do something like this. Playing with no striker won't help our cause but he might opt for this instead of chucking Leonard into the deep end.
  17. No but he's a downgrade on Kaminski for sure
  18. I'm never confident on the opening day and today is no different, always want to get that first win on the board as soon as. Still think we will lose this,no cutting edge and a keeper downgrade it'll all be passing around in the middle but lacking the final ball.
  19. Just came here to post the same thing, didn't realise their squad was so strong, don't think I put them for promotion in the predictions thread but yeah, keep that together and they'll walk this league.
  20. It's going to be an interesting lineup, I think what you've posted is what JDT will start with. Travis will be the interesting one. I've always assumed it would be either him or Tronstad that plays but he paired them together in preseason. I'd like him to start Markanday ahead of Dolan as well but we'll see what he does.
  21. Although Dack didn't play, Sunderland just got stuffed 5-2 in their last preseason game against Hartlepool. They conceded some absolutely horrible goals.
  22. Ennis off at half time. Not sure if that means he can only do 45mins or he only did 45mins to keep him fresher for the weekend?
