  1. Yep, seems that way. No Lenihan either. Johnson and JRC still not back. https://www.lancs.live/sport/football/football-news/blackburn-rovers-team-news-watford-19896509
  2. Didn't think there would be. Obviously its just spin to please the fans but it seems unlikely that Venkys or Waggot would be masterminding such a revolutionary idea to merge it all into one place and basically being a head of the curve compared to other clubs. It seemed we were ahead of the curve than most clubs with the Cat one status. I guess we will lose that status too? Probably costs a bit to keep it at a Cat one level, so might be another money saving idea.
  3. Probably been mentioned somewhere in the thread previously but with the club trotting out the line its the best way forward for the future and all that, do any other clubs operate with a similar set up to what we are proposing?
  4. Apologies if someone else was lined up to start this thread. So,let's start with: March 24th 2012 - Bolton 2 v 1 Rovers April 2nd 2012 - Rovers 0 - 2 Man Utd April 7th 2012 - WBA 3 - 0 Rovers April 10th 2012 - Rovers 2 - 3 Liverpool April 14th 2012 - Swansea 3 - 0 Rovers The last time we lost 5 on the bounce, according to the lancs live. Mowbray now has to mastermind a win or draw against 3rd placed Watford in order to avoid joining the same club as Steve K**n in going 5 losses in a row. Confidence must be at an all time low and I can't see anything other than a comfortable defeat. Gallagher and Nyambe will be missing, not sure about Lenihan. Formation and lineup is changed probably daily by Mowbray, so who knows who will start or in what formation. I'm thinking we might even get done 0-3. Anyone feeling more positive?
  5. I'm just going on Mowbrays history with the right back spot. He's often played Bennett there and he's already given THB game time there. I'd much rather Pike was developed in our first team for the rest of the season, instead of developing the City loanee but you already know what Mowbray will do.
  6. Sounds like we are going to be without Gallagher and Nyambe for a while. Mowbray has said he's "done his hamstring" but without going into much detail but the article says he expects both to be out for a while. So, its Bennett or THB for the foreseeable at right back. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2021/february/injury-update-sam-gallagher-and-ryan-nyambe/
  7. Doesn't even sit in the dugout anymore. Falls asleep in the fucking 15th row.
  8. We won't be getting anything of the next game, so looking at 5 losses on the bounce.
  9. “I’m only trying to build a football team, build a club, with an identity, and I mentioned Brentford, I don’t know how many years they’ve been trying, they were top of the table and just lost two games, are they all moaning at Brentford? Maybe, I don’t know because I don’t see it." "At this moment we haven't, we are doing with what we’ve got our very best and it feels a little bit like a lack of support from certain areas, but that’s okay, because the group are quite tight and we’ll get on with it together.” a couple of digs at the fans??
  10. Yer totally agree there. Assume they never had this set up before because they wanted their agent friends to be allowed to run the joint and skim off the top to line their own pockets. Venkys approach has so far failed more often than it has succeeded and none have gotten us close to where we need to be. I'm not sure why Cheston did a proper job only to be overruled and his approach might very well have gotten us promotion. Warnock would have easily been our best manager under Venkys, instead they appointed our second worst (K**n was the worst) Honestly I have no idea why they get into bed with one agency and just use them for one of the most important positions at the club. Lunacy but its no surprise, as Venkys are abysmal owners and just because they keep the lights on it doesn't get them off the hook.
  11. The next one probably will come from HSH. It would be a typically lazy Venkys approach to the whole situation. At one point, someone at the club actually went out and did a genuine recruitment process and we nearly had Warnock in the hot seat. Venkys of course had to return to their "advisors" who swiftly recommended Owen Coyle and they went for it! 😂 That move alone should have ended their relationship with HSH and yet Mowbray rocks up. With Mowbray getting us promoted back into the championship at the first attempt and "stabilising" us in the league, it will go down as a roaring success and Venkys will opt for the cheapest, laziest recruitment method by going straight back to HSH for anyone out of work on their books. After 10 years and 7 managers, you would think they would opt for a change in their approach, especially as when someone conducted a more standard recruitment approach, we had Warnock all ready to go and pretty much all 7 managers have been failures with Venkys tried and tested method. Wouldn't it be great to have some outside of the box thinking, a lot of clubs at this level are doing that and a few have had some real success when doing it.
  12. No and his comment "we'll judge it at the end of the season" (if we are falling short) suggests he knows it too.
  13. Nar we won't get 70 points. Be lucky to hit 60. 31 points from 17 games to hit 70, never happening under Mowbray.
  14. Honestly, how can they be so stupid? They've been in charge of the club for 10 years. How have they not learnt a god damned thing in all that time? Useless.
