I bought mine today, have to say the process was reasonably painless, especially compared to buying the game on Rovers TV last night!

I wasn’t so sure when you mentioned this on the stream the other night, but on that performance I’m definitely reassessing my opinion. Full backs getting forward at every opportunity is clearly something Mowbray wants, and for one they had adequate support. I’d still prefer a 4-4-2 though.

I really enjoyed that. Nyambe and Buckley were excellent, Kaminski picking up where he left off. Really impressed with Magloire, the lad is a physical phenomenon and those attributes alone mean he should be in and around the first team not shipped out in favour of other teams kids. Pickering has a lovely left foot but struggled defensively against a tough opponent. Garrett loves a tackle, Cirino looks like one to watch, Dolan was busy first half, and what a hit by McBride… the way he set the ball down it was always flying in! Armstrong looked like his head was in Southampton. Oh, and that Diaz lad reminds me a lot of Brereton we had last season. We’re obviously going to be reliant on a lot of these young lads at times throughout the season. What a shame that during what is probably the academy’s most purple patch since it’s inception, there is such an uninspiring manager at the helm. A dynamic manager with motivational skills might get these lads playing fearlessly and above themselves giving us something to get really excited about.

Rovers TV is shite. Billed three times, still no valid subscription showing to watch it. No doubt it will be “challenging” to stream a game. Waggott finds everything challenging.

The same could be said for the fans consultation meetings, which the Forum seems to have become the de facto replacement for. The consultation meetings are supposed to be the place to ask the questions a lot of people seem to be wanting from the forum. It’s usually a very passive room and the questions always come from the same people. There is of course the issue that the meetings aren’t fit for purpose and rather than get answers from the owners (ha!) we are regaled with tales of Tony’s youth. Id like to see a few more posters off here attend the next consultation, whenever that may be.

I’m very surprised he hasn’t been included in the recent kit launch videos considering his newfound cult hero status. Actually, of course I’m not surprised the club aren’t capitalising on this in the slightest. Maybe if there is a third kit.

Agree completely. Big fan of this on first viewing and I might have to buy one. I’ll have to see it up close though, Macron’s quality of manufacturing can be very shoddy.

Seems the overwhelming response is positive, which should mean we sell a load. I’m not a big kit buyer, but for me Rovers colours should always be reversed on the back. That’s my gripe. I’d also be interested to see what the overall quality is like as my experiences with Macron in the past haven’t been good. I like the rose detail on the blue section though. Some nice touches, but a bit far away from tradition for my liking.

A lot of those age old things we were taught growing up playing the game are in direct contrast with how it tends to be played now. Playing it across your own goal would’ve got you a rollicking in the not too distant past and it happens all the time now. And imagine a player saying he took the man and ball after a crunching tackle.

Speaking from experience, I can confirm this was the case for me. However, I completely understand that some people will have reached the end of their tether. When you consider that we’d still be making completely unsustainable losses even if we sold every seat at 400 quid a year, it just makes you realise the entire situation is futile.

Yeah, I think I’ve seen you mention it a time or two. And I do get it. Unfortunately the last decade has undoubtably turned a large number of fans off. Waggott continues to show he is not just out of touch, but completely incompetent with his approach to tickets. 5k is very poor, and I doubt we will shift that many.
