  1. Bit of a sweeping generalisation, is that, to be fair. I'm not a twenty something, but I can still differentiate between my posterior and my elbow. Social media is a necessary evil that enables absolute whoppers to upload millions of selfies of them with animal parts on accompanied by crying laughing emojis, but it's good to help keeping in touch with folk, so it's a trade-off. Either way, Snapchat filters are just about the most infantile thing anyone can use.....
  2. Must admit, if anything can make me laugh after getting slapped 4-1, it’s when people say ‘the reaction is OTT as per usual’. What do we expect? For us to be cracking out the Cristal?
  3. Been out and can’t be bothered reading 18 pages of this thread tbh. We got slapped 4-1 and brought right back down to earth, seemingly. Re Dack’s private life- as long as what he does off the pitch doesn’t affect what he does on it, then it’s none of our business.
  4. Think we are playing them at the end of the month as well....
  5. I still think it’s down to the individual, fundamentally. Some are keener than others, some work nights/live further away, therefore can’t get to midweek matches as easily. I’d sooner go to a game over watching it on TV, any day of the week, but not everyone else is like me.
  6. Nixon is such a goon. Bless him.
  7. It's not about feelings getting hurt, it's about the rules of the board, always has been to be fair. No updates re the Starman, yet....
  8. We're talking about when someone gives their opinion on a player for example, then if other people laugh at that, we'd say that was trolling, for example. People needing to relax on here is a given, but in an ideal world, which this isn't!
  9. No, but we can be perceptive enough to see when people are deliberately winding others up and when things are likely to escalate. If it's obviously a joke, then it's different.
  10. Napoli have been good in recent years in the CL, now especially under Ancelotti they will be a tough test for Liverpool, they'll need to tread carefully.
  11. To be fair, people were using it to wind others up. Winding people up= trolling, which is against the rules. It's not about what's acceptable to whoever as obviously everyone is different, it's about rules that have been in place for a while, to be fair.....
  12. What services are those?
  13. Think Burnley will beat United on Sunday tbh.
  14. Where have you seen this? Can't see it anywhere....
  15. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45360558 Seems like he's been listening!
  16. I think people just need to be more careful with their wording of stuff tbh (en masse, not just you, Ell!). For example 'he had a rubbish game' or 'he's been rubbish so far', instead of just 'he's rubbish'. I.E.- an observation about someone's performance isn't 'writing someone off' necessarily for the most part.
  17. More importantly, what was he eating?
  18. He's still playing in Cyprus, banging them in. Playing for the same team as Jordi Gomez (once of this parish) as well funnily enough!
  19. DJ Yoda/Jungle Brothers- Playin’ around
  20. You’ve brought your son up well, Tyrone. You should be very proud!
  21. That pillock from earlier is Saxo and he’s a cretin. He’s gone (for now until he re registers while the moderation team sleep, once we wake up, he’ll be gone again).
  22. It'll be on lease, most likely. But still, a mate of mine has one and told me how much road tax and fuel costs are each month. If I had any hair, it would have made it curl, believe me!
  23. Everyone on here is a Rover through and through, that's kind of the point. Not everyone is ever going to agree with each other all the time, that's just life. Probably best to just keep scrolling, rather than labelling people en masse....
  24. Think he went to Wigan from us, then on to Burnley from there.
  25. As others have alluded to, David Jones, having been on loan here, went there after. Similar thing happened with Michael Keane.
