  2. U21s team to player Brackley - score/update A start for the legend that is Mafoumbi
  3. Pleasantly surprised that Tyjon starts, disappointed no Kargbo from the off...but maybe the plan is to start him on Saturday.
  4. He'll end up going for about 1.8 million with a load of add ons that will be dressed up as 'a deal up to 2.5m' similar to what you say. How much of those extra add ons we'll actually see is another debate but my point here is Rovers are desperate to get rid because they've already spent on replacements. So there'll be no holding out for good money however it'll be dressed up as otherwise to fend of the critics.
  5. Interested to see Michalski - especially how he copes with corners.
  6. In the build up Montgomery will overlap, Miller will take up a right centre back role in a back 3, & Henriksson will move inside to support Tyjon & Gueye Or at least that will be the intent
  7. Your favourite Rover of all time would you say? 🤣
  8. Might give him more confidence for next game, and to be fair his speed and stamina were main reason we bought him so three games in a week ought to be fine. Interested to see Tavares, I know its lower league opposition but a good midfielder should boss this sort of game so it is still a useful insight. And reality is that he is probably the starter when we sell Trav. Interesting that Miller is at CB, and Henriksson as Right Attacking Mid; the latter could also do with a good game to settle.
  9. I genuinely think its a stamina thing, he looks unstoppable for 15 or 20 minutes then fades If that is the case, then starting him is not an option
  10. Derby will stump up the required money for Trav. That will get done over the next week I'd imagine.
  11. i thought kargbo would start,i really can`t understand why he`s not,bit experimental to have miller and wharton at centre back innit🙄,though miller imo looks a natural big defender, who likes to get to the ball first
  12. To be fair the way Derby are investing and Eustace's ability as a manager, I reckon a promotion clause in any sale would be worthwhile, as tragic as that is for us as Blackburn fans. In all honesty, while I would want 3m or similar to Brittain, we will likely sell at around 2-2.5m including add-ons because Pasha doesn't want to pay Trav a salary anymore.
  13. If it's any 'thing' it's an arrogance thing. We'll do what we want, we are rich and powerful and can afford to chuck millions away keeping a famous old English football club afloat, just because we can. We own those Brit mofo's and they will dance to our tune as long as we like' That sort of thing.
  14. Not sure if that’s meant to portray some kind of balance. Newcastle committed to pay Isak £6mill a year for the next 6 years when he signed, even if he turned out to be a flop. If rumours are correct he now wants £15mill a year then I wouldn’t negotiate either.
  15. Surprised De Neve is starting, probably getting up to speed
  16. Good point. Both razors could apply so it's very likely just because our internet content people are dogshit.
  17. Don't worry, it wasn't a comment on your line-up specifically I agree it's the most likely! It was more an indictment of where the owners have left us.
  18. I didn't say it was the line up I would pick...
  19. So the countdown to Travis leaving has begun and no surprises its started at 1.5 million and won't get anywhere near some of the numbers expected on here in reallity. Under the cloak of 'undisclosed' and 'add ons up to' etc
  20. To be fair, only Pears could go and get a hair transplant and even fuck that up...
  21. I have no sympathy at all for football clubs. They routinely screw over players. Not the high profile ones, but those at the bottom trying to make it. If what I read earlier is to be believed Newcastle told Isak last summer that they'd negotiate a new deal in the summer of 2025. They decided not to. Isak also allegedly told Howe twice at the end of the season that he wanted to leave.
  22. How was the question phrased to Pasha? In answer to a direct ”has Lowe left the club” then Pasha would appear to have been being truthful without explicitly denying that something is going on. What sounds like a clueless answer might actually have been smart from him… Makes him appear dense but less controversial/revealing than ”he’s been kicked out by one faction but has appealed to the other mob to keep him on” 🤔
