Every new manager is a gamble. However experienced, even more so working for that shower. Klopp would struggle with Rudy and Pasha above. I want to stay up ofcourse but all a bit irrelevant while Raos still the owners. I would usually be quite excited and optimistic now about a fresh start and new manager. They have robbed me of that feeling too. -
Who's Rowett bringing with him then?
-
Oxford have been (so far) worse than us this season, which is some achievement - is their squad that bad or does Rowett take some responsibility..?
-
He's said this in the last few days, and during his last brief tenure.
-
I think we will be struggling to catch Charlton , we have played them twice . We ain't going to win many games !

Bloody hell DJ, what are you playing at? -
That’s my take on it too.
-
Set piece emphasis sounds like a plan.
-
Agreed. Last thing the lad needs is arrogant folk like “RoversXtra” giving him stick online
-
Real shame for Elliot Jackson. He’s trying his best as a journalist but the club have effectively froze him out. They want him gone and they’ll do whatever they can to get rid of him, including clearly feeding false information. The message will be clear if that happens - write things we do not like and we will make your job untenable. What a very strange situation we find ourselves in. Is there another club in the football league that bans its local journalists? Does this type of behaviour not get considered in the “fit and proper” tests?

Seems ok in theory and the kind of style that's served us best over the years if you've got the players suited to it, Tbh as long as we play a traditional back 4 that's a good enough start for me 😅 -
Yay. Can’t wait.
-
Great save from Kaminsky in extra time tom help Charlton get a point. Always rated him, surprised to see him at lowly Charlton.
-
This very much. Don't google his coaching style mind...
-
If I'm honest, I don't know that much about Rowett, but sounds like he's realistically as good as we're going to get, with the current whoppers overseeing it.
-
And he'll send them down on the last game of the season

Fair doos! I was just going of his wiki stats, that don't look good on paper -
Birmingham - took over when they were bottom 3, no money to spend and by the time he was sacked by their new owners they were in the top 6 Derby - play-offs in his only season Stoke - sacked after 6 months - but nobody has done well there Millwall - kept them up and had them top half / play-off chasing for 2-3 years Birmingham - took over with 8 games remaining, won 3 but they went down Oxford - took over with them struggling near the bottom, kept them up with a weak side, sacked this season with them struggling Personally I think he's ideal for us both in our current situation and as someone who could build us up again on a limited budget. But under Rudy and Suhail I suspect it won't work out because he won't be given the opportunity to do the job, just like Eustace wasn't.

West Brom won't beat Stoke tomorrow. -
And they will also pay a real wage, not an apprentice salary for a senior role.

I’m still unsure where people’s confidence in WBA is coming from. -

Sorry am I missing something here!? What has rowet done as a manager that's impressive, looks like he just plods from 1 job to the next achieving nothing Dean smith isn't exactly the most inspiring, but at least he's shown he can get a lot out of mediocre teams at this level -
Will Rowett take it though. Leicester looking also and he played for them
-
Rowett now 1/3
