  1. Past hour
  2. Why on earth would you have a match after a match that's just stupid
  3. Yes if he continues to play the way he has he'll be getting interest by next summer.
  4. Did anyone else notice TGH and Tronstad running into the same areas defensively? Obvisously a new pairing and thought TGH looked decent in his first game, but he's a lot worse than Travis. He should probably start ahead of Tavares against Coventry too but I'd give Sidnei a start again soon if I was Ismael.
  5. I think the opening 9 games, combined with the next 5 or 6 will prove too much to overcome. We'll be - in my opinion - in the bottom 3, low on confidence and leaders and the ask will be to steel our selves and outperform those above us. I don't think group of players or the manager has it in them. I predict us to get relegated. I'd love to be wrong.
  6. Please for him to put midweek. Hind him, although shame he didn’t convert one of the other chances. Best thing today was he kept getting in the box and central, something which the two wide players in the first half rarely did.
  7. Morishita had that one moment in the first half where he crossed for Gudjohnsen who should've done better. I think we're seeing most of our summer signings are needing time to get up to the pace and physicality of the Championship. Tronstad admitted it took a bit of time when he first joined too, but then after a while he was fine and coped well. Players like McLoughlin are expected to gel right in, whereas the reason Miller and Alebiosu have done better than the rest is that they've both played in the SPL, de Neve had his best performance in a Rovers shirt today, which is a positive as well.
  8. Generally, when sides go down they aren’t terrible all the time. The number of sides that get relegated with 45+ points tells you this. There will be times in the season when all those sides will have played well, won games and thought “we might be OK”. My big concern is what happens every year. We get injuries, squad gets stretched and we get worse. It’s just this year we won’t have points in the bank.
  9. But we spent around £10m on transfer in. That was my point Kent here is his goal against France 3 weeks ago
  10. As long as he takes his frustrations out on the pitch and deliver the goods I don't mind. Didn't contribute too much other than scoring and having a couple of good chances, but that's still an improvement from earlier games this season.
  11. Just need his father to show him, if he is half the player we will do alright
  12. Basics of controlling a football for Gudjohnsen. If we need patience to wait for him to master that then its time to give up. He's an International footballer, apparently.
  13. We made a profit from player trading this summer... again That is the opposite of "expensive"
  14. Watched him today. Played well and got an assist. We shouldn't have sold him only loaned him in my view. That may be an unpopular opinion.
  15. Today
  16. Not sure spending 10m in window is cheap window for us and probably our most expensive for many season and we reinvested some of the sale money time and patience is going to be needed to here with a few of these overseas signings.
  17. I agree with most of your post, I dont trust Pasha or Gestede and deliberate relegation is not unknown in these parts!
  18. If he did, he deserved it. Jesus christ the amount of money they earn a bit of criticism shouldn't be an issue. Obviously there's a line and racism etc is a different thing entirely but he was abysmal the other night.
  19. Its not surprising no after the overhaul which comprises of letting go a series of key players and replacing them with cheapos from inferior leagues. You have that correct. I judged Gudjohnsen based on what I have seen so far, and made it pretty clear that I wasnt writing him off. But theres no point pretending that he hasnt been crap in the last 2 games. Tronstad started slowly and became very good. There are also countless players that started poorly and continued to be poor until they left so its pointless comparing.
  20. Sums the situation up perfectly..nothing more to add to that really.
  21. on social media after his shocker on tuesday night, nothing racial
  22. You have always and will always care more about being proven right than good faith debate. On the result. It's not good enough. I'm not about to celebrate a home draw against Stoke. I don't care about "deserved to win", we haven't won a game at home yet, it's fucking appalling.
  23. New Order Live King George's Hall Blackburn, England January 26th, 1985 The Perfect Kiss
  24. De Neve, Abileiusu, Kargbo are all here because they're fast as fuck The fact Abileiusu can defend and play a ball is a happy accident
  25. I was there Den watching the game with my own eyes and voicing my own opinion based on what I saw including the weather conditions at Rovers and the state of the pitch pre game
