  1. Past hour
  2. There will be… it will just be sharing a ground with Darwen in non league. Balaji Rao III holding the deeds.
  3. Ismael might well be open with the press, but I’d much rather his defence wasn’t the same way 😅.
  4. A quick google suggests Travis left Liverpool at 17. If so they’d be due 2% of the fee. Edited to add @KentExile: On reflection I think this is a FIFA regulation so only applies to international transfers (and only if those take place before the end of the year the player turns 23). I’m off out now but I’ll double check later on…
  5. The only show of fan discontent with the Owners in the whole of the Stadium. Nothing to see here...
  6. 1.5 million seems a bit tight to me.. One thing are charlatan owners do reasonably well is stick to their guns on values. For that reason and the fact we won't replace like with like anyway I'd be saying I want £2 - 2.5 mil and if Derby won't pay they can do one. We tell Travis he's staying for the year and can then walk on a free, we kick the can down the road and look to replace him next summer with a half decent free transfer ourselves.
  7. At least it's backfiring on eustace, 2 defeats and plenty of yellow cards.
  8. We had the game by the scruff of the neck, we were well in control, till ismael made 3 substitutions in succession and handed the game to the brummie scum on a plate. We almost scored goal of the month towards the end of the 1st half a rasping shot that struck the bar. We are in trouble with the Alibousi injury.
  9. Refused to make tea as well. And did not accept the contract offer we sent her via a homing pigeon a day prior to her contract ending.
  10. Exactly the same law will ensure that Rovers get a cut of Rory Finneran & Camden Schapers eventual transfer fees when Newcastle & Chelsea cash in on them, even if this is not done until after they turn 27 (as is the case with Travis). This fee is on top of any fees/compensation that will have already been paid by this point and will apply to all future transfers involving them Its actually one of the few areas that are not completely in favour of the big clubs (generally speaking), as 9 times out of 10, the beneficiary is a smaller club who had their talent poached at a young age. The same law means we are due an extra slice of any and all future transfers for Adam Wharton, Ashley Phillips, David Raya etc beyond any other future sell on fees etc which were actually negotiated in their sales, so if we didn't have Venkys being recipients of the money it would benefit Rovers if they had a nomadic career but with large transfer fees, like Anelka's career maybe?
  11. Good point. In truth Birminghams substitutes were more impactful than ours. As for being tired I agree but I would argue that several of their players looked like they too were fatigued. It was a high energy game on a hot day and we have a couple of players still off the pace in terms of general fitness.
  12. My support for this great club will always be there. No waving or no walking away. Rovers is part of my family and my life since 1991. Always will be.
  13. They couldn't even be bothered to clean his Memorial..thank you to Rovers greateset ever supporter but if only you knew what this lot are doing to your Club Jack.
  14. Agree, think it is absolute bollocks re: compensation but will bow to Kent Exile’s knowledge with regard to solidarity payments.
  15. Derby have offered 1.5 million for Travis. How exactly has letting this spill out into a what has clearly become quite a bitter stand off benefited the club at all? We clearly want to move him on, he wants out and clubs will have been following the fallout and know that it's hardly going to be a case of apologies on both sides and Trav reintegrated as captain if his valuation isn't met. Astonishing mishandling.
  16. To not even hit 20,000 for the first game of the season is complete failure. That's before you even factor in that there were 7,000 away fans.
  17. Today
  18. Exactly the crowd i knew it would be accounting for the price rises. I know of a few who said they were not paying that much for that game against a non local rival who were in league 1 last season. 'Kind of prices you might expect against Burnley or Liverpool in the FA cup' as one guy put it. To not even hit 20k when the opposition brings seven thousand shows where we are at now this season, some awful crowds on the horizon but no more than they deserve. Taking were probably up on the Derby game last season even though there were about 2k less home fans so they'll see it as a success. They don't give a #### the Luton Arsenal fan will be seeing a bonus in his £ eyeballs.
  19. I was looking at the ladies fixtures this morning. There is a home game at Clitheroe on 02/11/25. Why not make this the focus of a fans 150th celebration and fill the ground. Maybe get some media coverage and perhaps produce a 4,000 holes special edition. No one can argue about being negative and not getting behind the lads, it’s a win, win if we do this.
  20. It all about opinion and good for you chaddy but can you see the Wood for the Trees? The warning signs are clear and present for most of us.
