Doesn't really matter. It's still unprofessional and, quite frankly, a bit pathetic. I've had jobs end in bitter circumstances and had instances where I felt like I was mistreated or got the short end of the stick, but I didn't start running my trap on LinkedIn posts or fundamentally trolling my former employer. And that is in an environment where my former employer didn't have fans and supporters. She knows what she's doing or she's a moron. Either way, it's not a great look. A former player liaison is going further than former players are going. Just let that sink in for a minute. It lacks class. It lacks professionalism.

Just watched Buckleys interview again, the lads gutted! Would rather have kept him than sign Tavares. The lad bleeds blue and white.. Surely he was worth a go as a deep lying play maker alongside Trondstadt. Oh well, gutted. Such a shame.

I think most posters on here, know only too well that there is something inherently wrong at the club. Granted it started 15 years ago, but the recent recruitment of Gestede and the prominent role that Sufi now seems to have, look to have created a big rift. How deep that goes, I do not know, but the old guard seem to have been largely cleaned out, so something looks very amiss.

The amount of times in the last few years I've thought "man if there was just a CM making a run into the box here they have the freedom of Ewood to pick their spot in the back of the net". Hopefully one of the two CMs will push on now. I know Tavares wanted ten goal contributions this season...

So the player liaison officer is ‘so glad to be out’? She really should go to the police if we held her hostage or against her will, maybe she was hard done by, maybe she’s bitter or maybe it’s in the shades of grey. The club is a mess behind the scenes we know that but it’s easy to take shots once you have stopped being paid.

Bit miffed Wrexham didn't steal in. So we are looking for two more signings apparently. Obviously won't talk about a striker because RG won't want it thrown back it him when we fail. The lack of loan players at Ewood could paradoxically make us look very attractive for a Prem club with a young striker they desperately want to see getting game time.

The dressing room will miss him but on the pitch I think we will not miss him too much. He did ok but on an attacking sense we neec more. However with a good extra forward we could find it hard to score

He said what he wanted to say, agreed, but do we really know what went on from his statement alone? I think I know what went on, but not from what the manager said.

At the risk of repeating myself my view is that having two very similar central midfield players was doing us no favours in the long term. Neither of them had much in their locker regarding either scoring or making goals. We were a pretty defensive outfit without ever becoming a team similar to the Howard Kendall team that seemed to win 1-0 every week. We had 7 at the back at times but still conceded goals. Something had to change if we were going to become a more attacking team. I think now we’ll have one defensive midfield player and an attacking central midfield player. Neither of Travis or Tronstad had the required ball playing skills to play the attacking central midfield role. I don’t think either player has the necessary athleticism to do the amount of explosive running required in the role. I was surprised to see how short of real pace both of them were in the WBA game. OK it was early days in the season but they were both really pedestrian. You can get away with that in the defensive role but not in the attacking role. In summing up players come and go, it’s part of football. Am I heartbroken about Travis leaving ? In a word -no. When Wharton left I was inconsolable.

He wasn’t vague at all. He said exactly what he wanted to say. He doesn’t need to divulge EXACTLY what went on. It’s been toxic for years at Rovers. Years and years in fact. I don’t doubt that lots of people are disgruntled, but I’m also careful to reflect on the context of those who are complaining. Those bleating loudest are the ones who don’t fit the mold. I wonder how ‘toxic’ Yuki, Mori, Miller and Baradji are finding it? Truth is, no one likes change. We’re definitely changing. God knows if it will work or not.

Cantwell strikes me as a better footballer than Travis.

I’m hoping we end up getting BBD back. He is available and would fit in well with what we need.

I think we are weak in the spine , could do with an experienced GK maybe if/when Pears goes we will end up with a John Ruddy Tim Krul like back up , centre midfield looks week to me pinning a lot of expectation on the 2 new boys to be up to it and stay fit enough because I get dizzy thinking about Montgomery and Forshaw in my first team and only 2 strikers both of whose you could not bet your life savings getting into double figures
