  1. Past hour
  2. Surely we will bolster the squad with loans once we have finalised this lad from Sweden. Historically we have utilised loaning. Might have missed a few but: 21/22 - Van Hecke, Zeefuik, Clarkson, Khadra & Poveda 22/23 - Morton, Thomas, Hirst & Mola 23/24 - Hill, Koumetio, Ayari, Moran & Chrisene 24/25 - Sanderson, Beck, Baker, Cozier-Duberry, Dennis & Woodrow You would guess from above we would bring in four loan players? Brighton & Liverpool usually our first port of call, any names likely?
  3. With all this endless back and forth over Baradji, it would be kind of funny if we did finally sign him and he turned out to be absolutely mediocre.
  4. I find it hard to believe a guy who got relegated in Switzerland is worth 1.5 million. Maybe I'm out of touch with current prices but...
  5. Honestly, god knows….i don’t wanna seem overly positive (never goes down well in here 🙈🤣) but I do think VI has an aire of ‘peak Mowbray’ about him where he doesn’t shout and scream, he doesn’t whinge and whine. But he gets what he wants… Only time will tell.
  6. Don't think we are getting one At most, we might end up with a Cozier-Duberryesc loan to come off the bench to change things up
  7. Yeah, because their decision making is SOOO logical and 2+2 is always 4. Who knows what they’re planning!? Genuinely.
  8. Yep. Just tell the truth, and keep telling the truth.
  9. That will be where the Dele Ali links are from🤦🏻‍♂️
  10. So from a fans perspective if a couple of million pops up, which RW do we want?
  11. They're getting you arguing amongst yourselves again.
  12. Presumably so they can try and flog the one off kit as well as the home kit.
  13. He hasn't though has he. If that money was there he would be through the door. Gestede has said that any sales don't add to the initial budget, so where is that money for a marquee coming from? From previous sales over the past 2 seasons the expenditure is pitiful. It is not sustainable to sell your best players constantly and not reinvest in similar.
  14. Correct, he’s a right sided attacking midfielder. Hes not a winger, which confused me originally, but he is a perfect inverted forward. I actually agree that we need more attacking options. I’m just piecing together the thinking in these signings against the way VI wants to play. Its just my opinion.
  15. Maybe VI has been promised a ‘Cantwell-esque’ marquee signing?
  16. Ah, so close yet so far. I loved JDT's response when he was asked what he'd have done in that position - "scored"
  17. Anything that requires cost, planning, time, or effort forget about it. This the club that couldn't be arsed with programmes any more because it was all just too much effort, and one look around Ewood Park tells us all we need to know about the levels of pride around the place. When basic maintenance and cleanliness are too much effort and cost then celebrating an anniversary forget about it. At best we are going to get the usual twitter videos with a dozen 'legends' and it sounds like they might have commissioned a one-off kit (why you'd do it for a one-off game rather than the whole season I don't know). I'm at the point I'm almost glad that this regime isn't trying to exploit past glories and pride for its own ends. Personally I don't think they should attempt to capitalise on the pre-2010 history of this club when all they've done is disgrace it.
  18. He's slower than Hyam, not particularly strong either considering his height. Seems to be good on the ball though.
  19. Henriksson is an attacking midfielder, not a deep lying one Our Scandinavian forum members over the weekend also thought he will likely play as one of the 3 behind the striker
  20. He would, but he would have inexplicably chipped it. 🤬🤬
  21. The Scottish side of my family are split between Celtic and the Hibees, they speak very highly of Miller and one of my uncles (Hibs) who takes an interest in Rovers says he has a modern Lucas Neill feel about him. Aggressive, physical and likes getting forward.
  22. Sell Trav for £4m, buy Baradji for £1.5m and pay off Mafoumbi.
  23. Helps when you can't afford/refuse to pay for an actual proper winger I suppose. If they manage to offload Travis and bring in Baradji that would surely be close to Suhail's dream window in terms of replacing the higher wage earners and bringing in cheaper ones.
  24. Imagine they'll be asking for about 4 million for Travis, being club captain etc... Eustace will be pushing their board to do it but they won't be as keen as they'll probably get him for free in a year.
  25. According to yourself as I recall, that was only done to appease Eustace as he was unhappy last summer and threatened to walk out. I doubt VI is cut from the same material.
  26. Great. I'd rather he could play football.
