  1. Past hour
  2. They have invested in the city and other sports team. Not keen on the design but at least they are building a new stadium for the club
  3. Whatever we might think of some of England’s shot selections, that was sport at its very best. And it’s just the first day of the series! 🔥🔥🔥💪🏻👏🏻👏🏻
  4. They have every right to be very confident. Genuinely think it'll be a total walkover for them tonight, we'll barely lay a glove on them. Remember, we won 3 on the bounce, so it's highly likely we'll not win again for at least 5 games.
  5. Stokes has taken 5 wickets since tea! 121-9, can we clean them up before stumps?
  6. It's a good marketing gimmick for this game tbf to them. I'm sure they'll get rid of those squeaky chickens pretty quickly to 100 PNE fans who think they're funny.
  7. I work with a number of PNE Fans and they are very confident even over confident tbh. Ive took plenty of banter of them about our league position and where they are. We are more suited to playing away from home. So we will see tonight. I would switch to back 4 given we only have 2 centre backs fit. My team Pears Alebiosu Miller McLoughlin Pickering Tronstad Montgomery Morishita. Ohashi Hedges Gudjohnsen
  8. This is going to come down to a one-innings shoot out.
  9. Atleast we don't play football in a shoe box. DOO DOO DOOOO FOOTBALL IN A SHOE BOX! DOO DOO DOOOO FOOTBALL IN A SHOE BOX!
  10. A nostalgic look back at Bolton Road with your brew… https://shop.brfcs.com/products/going-down-the-bolton-road-blackburn-rovers-fan-mug
  11. No need to worry about what some daft potato pushers say. They're obsessed, like so many of their fans. They aren't even PNE fans either.....
  12. A tribute to a Rovers legend in time for the Festive Season… https://shop.brfcs.com/products/joyeux-noel-blackburn-rovers-tribute-tee-shirt?variant=50900097728792
  13. Today
  14. The doom n gloom expectation to a game usually results us getting a result...I think we'll get a draw.
  15. They’ll ‘support’ both like half their fanbase does.
  16. Cantwell will play for us again. He's on what, 44 league appearances? I can see another 4 or 5 appearances in over the next 6 weeks before he hits the magic 50, before another mystery injury see's him out again, and then sold in Jan. In the summer I thought it was to early for anyone to really take an interest in Cantwell, I think in January though there will be suitors as he will be a bargain for anyone with any real ambition to break into that top 6 and try and get promotion.
  17. Wouldn't take any notice of SpudBros, they are all Liverpool fans (genuinely not the usual piss taking). They have just seen an opportunity at there local club and jumped on it, now pretending that they have always been North End fans and that Liverpool are just there "prem team". They look like really decent blokes to be fair but I wouldn't take any notice of anything they have to say regarding football.
  18. Current batting pair doing well. Need to break this partnership.
  19. Does anyone know how the Rovers Museum we were promised is getting on? Rovers* put in two National Lottery bids (the 2nd I am told was via the Community Trust) but were turned down. The agreed fallback position was a dedicated museum space in a room in the Darwen End. Perhaps Plan D was a couple more display cases that only the prawn sandwich brigade 🥟 and those on ground tours get to see? It will be interesting to hear how much we have been let down 🧐 *why would the BIG Lottery Fund give a grant to a limited company owned by Indian big ‘hitters?
  20. Tell you what, as bad as our batting was, our bowling has been superb so far.
  21. Don’t even get it out the bag yet… 31-4
  22. Just the occasion instagram post which feels slightly cryptic
  23. It's perhaps just a foible of mine, but I'm literally reading every thread, then it's saying I've got an unread post that I've already read... Also, it keeps defaulting to showing me the thread of the 1992-2000 nostalgia one. I love Kenny Dalglish, but I feel like I see that photo of him and Ray Harford 700 times a day, ha.
  24. Type of game Pears drops an absolute bollock, especially with a cobbled together defence in front of him. Not sure where they're at injury wise themselves but can't be as dire as us so they'll definitely fancy it. Could always end up being a drab post international break game though like they ofter are. 1-1, and I would take that.
  25. Be lucky to get a point from this. An early goal from them will see us on the back foot for the rest of game. That being said the last few games we went behind we did show some fight to a certain degree though too late. Need to score first. That'll be key to even coming close to winning or drawing this fixture Hoping for 2-1 win More chance of a 2-0 loss. Will take a 1-1 draw.
  26. 17 wickets fell on day 1 of the India v Aus test match in Perth last year. Don't throw the towel in just yet.
