  1. Past hour
  2. they always come up with the token "blame the fans for all the clubs problems" there must be a bit of disquiet behind the scenes,it`s a stock response from them, hopefully venkys are going to **** off and leave us to build a football club again
  3. Really deserved but a huge blow for us. Knowing our luck he’ll get injured out there and be out till March
  4. Question. You meet a broad section of EFL fans and journos and convey our issues very eloquently. Do you get the impression we are seen as a crisis club or just down on our luck?
  5. I care more about Rovers and Blackburn than thosez see you next Tuesdays. So they can whistle if they think ill ever happy clap for them.
  6. He chose to represent his parents’ country Nigeria.
  7. Just playing the victims again and trying to sow divisions between supporters, making out that those who complain/criticise are the villains here and are behaving unreasonably. Of course those of us with any grasp on reality know that when a group of people take a sledgehammer to a football club, run it into the ground, and drag its reputation and name through the gutter those complicit in it should not be surprised when criticism comes their way. I get the impression, like with Elliot Jackson, they'd love to ban/stop the 'problem' fans from attending games so they can just carry on dismantling in peace with a few thousand head in sand gang behind them at Ewood. Only it isn't so easy when you can't revoke access for complaining. I'd like to think they are panicking here - knowing the damage (and growing) done since the summer, the plummeting gates and atmosphere at Ewood - and they are really so daft they think a video like this is going to change the direction of things. I know I am and I'm sure many others are at the point where words are meaningless. They can promise the earth, release videos and all manner of other gimmicks it doesn't matter any more. The damage has been done and only serious action turns this around. That means regime change, no less. They're either completely and totally out of touch with reality and how people are feeling after what has gone on here or are deliberately on the wind up with stuff like this, knowing they'll provoke more outrage.
  8. Today
  9. They probably called him up without asking him first. That's what African nations do in the hope they can blag themselves a player
  10. I’m pleased for him but a pound to a penny some manager will be saying to one of his players who have also been selected - “ See if the lad fancies a move “.
  11. That game against Brazil where Mullery marked Pele was the best I ever saw him play. He was tremendous that day. He kept Pele, who was probably at the height of his powers and playing in a great team, relatively quiet. Big Mal talked a lot of sense most of the time, I learnt a lot just by listening to him back in the day.
  12. That's a big blow. Pick of the summer signings. However, for Alebiosu, well deserved. He'll be around some top quality players and hopefully gets on the pitch, obviously no idea how Nigeria are for RB's/RWB's
  13. Is there a specific incident they're referring to for that video to be uploaded? Otherwise it's an utterly bizarre thing to post.
  14. He’ll never be able to play the Tronstad role. He’s not diligent enough.
  15. I've been saying the same recently. Might be way off the mark, but it's feeling like the end game in a lot of respects.
  16. He is one for the future. Sadly its a grim future.
  17. Really big blow. And it seems that none of our defenders will be back fit and obviously we cant sign or recall anyone before January and there are 3 or 4 games before that.
  18. Today’s football pundits are pussycats compared to the pundits of old, even this is tame:
  19. This is probably more like it but even that is unbalanced. The three CBs we have at the club which may get/stay fit this year are - Wharton, McLoughlin and Pratt. They are all left footed.
  20. Miller was signed to be our RB, I think - and to cover at RCB when playing 3 at the back. If we can either get one of our CBs fit enough to play more than a few games and/or we buy a new chap in the transfer window, I think Miller goes to RB.
  21. Very predictable injury too. Not factored in---we live on hope. Like with the pitch.
  22. TGH for me unless we need him in midfield. Failing that if we get one of our crocked centre halves back we can play Miller at right back. It’s bad news for Rovers but good news for the lad. He’s earned it.
  23. It'd be quite a chuckle watching JRC trying to play RWB.
  24. We used to have a chap who could do a job at RB when asked. We sold him to sit on the Charlton bench
