From last season's squad we have lost half a dozen players who had proven Championship ability: Batth, Beck, Sanderson, JRC, Dolan and Weimann (4 of them big players for us last season). So far, we have not signed one replacement, let alone additional team improver, of Championship ability. Yes but the point I’m making is it’s the exact same scenario we lost szmodics and brought in unproven foreign players - which for the overall team worked out better it’s not proven that will be the case again but to continuously say we will struggle when last season is proof that it won’t necessarily be the case is just strange to me

Think most of us were surprised how last season went based on the previous season. I think at the moment we are considerably weaker than we were last season when comparing the number of players of proven ability at this level we have lost with the cheap and unproven foreign players we have brought in . Without at least 3 quality additions who automatically command starting places and improve our starting 11, I think we will struggle. That is my opinion as you are entitled to yours.

I wonder if Moussa Baradji was (and possibly still is) seen as the "right wing" option, someone to overload the centre whilst the right back overlaps. The current option there (Hedges) isn't one to hug the touchline either
