  1. Past hour
  2. He expects it to be an external appointment, Chaddy, based on how normal clubs would operate, but that doesn't necessarily mean it will be an external move here. It could easily be any from Rudy, Jagdish (Balaji's son), another family friend who knows nothing about football, or somebody with the right agent connections.
  3. have you email the chairman of the We Are The Rovers to asked why they haven't joined the Coalition and why they are sticking to original plan? points deductions for what Tompill2?
  4. Weren't one of the venks lining one of there sons up to one day take control a few years back?
  5. Is this the excuse now for why we can't sort contracts and bring in new signings, because we are awaiting a new CEO? Sounds like a typical Venky Rovers excuse.
  6. Its no surprised that Waggott has left. Then statement is very blunt and straight to the point. No long statement. He has carried the can for the poor external and internal communication in the last 18 months. The decision and the PR around the axing of the Women's team was disaster and should have been handled so much better.
  7. Isn't Balaji Rao's son at university in the UK ? When does he graduate ?
  8. Looks like its an external appointment given what Andy Bayes has said today. but summer recruitment can't be stopped and Gestede and Owen needs to carry and trying to bring signings in
  9. Swansea had 600k bod last week for him rejected
  10. Didn't it say in the LT our initial proposal to him had been rejected? I mean how difficult can it really be to re-sign a 34 year old CB for a further 12 months? What the hell were we offering?
  11. I see this as the age old Venky distraction tactics. We saw it in full effect last season after the January debacle. Attempts to blame Broughton, Cheston and Silvester for the shenanigans, so they left quickly under a short club statement and then they can claim to have learned lessons and that action is being taken. The latest chaos with the dismal interviews, then stooge 1 being forced out of the shadows and now the negative publicity with the ladies team and presumably dismal season ticket sales so another scapegoat needed. Only we are running short on options there so bring forward Waggott's retirement. They're playing games and sadly people will fall for it again. Nothing really changes until the owners and their main stooge are gone. Until then they'll just keep on shuffling and distracting.
  12. Meanwhile the former leading side in Lancashire will be playing below teams like Sporting Khalsa and Loughborough. Embarrassing, the Venkys effect.
  13. What’s Jackson saying about the shock exit? Can only see the LT headline. He mentions a power struggle?
  14. They’re completely clueless so if they all went they’d still appoint useless tossers to replace them.
  15. I thought Waggott leaving at the end of the season had been rumoured for a while? The statement suggests a falling out but my impression was there was a boardroom split with Waggott against Rudy/Pasha. Again, just my impression, but Rudy appears far more anti-fanbase than Waggott. I wasn’t a fan of Waggott, but I’m not sure this is the positive that people think it is. I think what’s left behind could be far worse.
  16. Lose track of all the nonsense that goes on these days at Rovers - as others have said (and was speculated recently) then Gestede for CEO could be a possibility - anything which doesn’t make sense and lacks ambition usually fits the criteria.
  17. Or the new CEO comes in, a professional with gravitas, and bails within 12 months?
  18. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/25185397.burnley-fc-women-go-full-time-pros---replace-rovers/ Dingle FC Women to go full-time pros - and could replace Rovers Not sure if this was always planned, or if they are jumping on the opportunity
  19. It also coincides with the need for quick cash. It is cost saving as much as anything else. Rudy steps up and the owners save £300,000a year
  20. Today
  21. Ultimately been no unrest in years , certainly not public , When the poop hits the fan the axe falls
  22. You do know shebby is dead.... what if in surprise turn of events ...steve kean becomes CEO I would fall off my chair laughing and check myself into a mental asylum for supporting ROVERs through venkys era
