According to Instagram he's now in Dubai training (6 months of training) to become a boxer. The decision making that comes with being punched in the head for a retirement job may be just the criteria Gestede et al are looking for

Was that image from tonight? If so, you'd expect the floodies being on is linked. Intriguing...

His results at Reading have been very good in his short time there. Won 7 of 14 and lost only 3. He certainly shouldnt be under consideration here. But you seem to be good at highlighting by far the best part of a managers career (in this case a very small part) as proof that they arent good overall.

Saw it on an aircraft a few days ago , excellent documentary!

Fill the manager's vacancy and a squad place in midfield . Double bubble. Anyone have facial recognition software? 😆

The January 2026 Transfer Window

I have always felt Ohashi would work well as a 10, playing as more of a second striker like Szmodics did, remember he wasn't a particularly "creative" 10 like Ozil but a poacher running from deep. Ohashi's passing vision is fine, and his positioning is good. He also makes all the other forwards he plays with better through his pressing. People are too harsh on him for being run ragged by Ismael with no support. If we played better as a unit, with a front four of Gudjohnson, Jorgenson on left, Ohashi 10 and Morishita on right, I think that would complement reasonably well, with Afolayan on a wing if Jorgenson struggles. -
No it’s not. Trust me.

If it's the one Ive seen it's really good, fascinating stuff, particularly the early footage from Scotland but as you would expect we're relegated to an honourable foot note in the closing titles! 😂

2 centre forwards who both know where the back of the net is Leave 2 up front at corners Genuine wingers who can cross a ball and beat a man with a bit of skill Players in general who can beat a man with a bit of skill as opposed to simply outpacing them. Something a bit more creative than simply "over-loading" ie. just trying to get 2 players on one Players with a bit of technique who can hit the back of the net as opposed to row Z if they try a shot from 25 yards. Defenders who think their primary job is to keep the ball out of their net and not try and be Michel Platini Never ever give a goal away pissing about with the ball in your defensive third of the pitch. Keepers who have re - learnt the long lost arts of narrowing down angles, catching the ball instead of punching it and thereby not giving it straight back to the opposition and commanding their 6 yard area. And above all realising they're also there to stop the ball going in the back of the net, not to try and be Lionel Messi. Stupid I know. Will never catch on.
