  1. Past hour
  2. I’m just tired of it all and we’re 10 days in just get rid of Travis tronstad and hyam now so we don’t have to keep talking about it actually draining
  3. The bizarre lack of bringing in good strikers continues even though goalscorers have previously brought in a ton of cash, and could have brought in more if Pasha did his job effectively. A bad start to the season but fully expected. I don't blame Ismael. Gestede, Pasha and the owners (especially) are the problem.
  4. Pasha will be hoping he shows up against Birmingham. Plenty of time left in the window for another sale.
  5. A pint of bitter in the Brown Cow-£2.80, a pint of bitter on Ewood £5.50.
  6. So the anonymous director was there tonight, Venkys finance man surely no coincidence. No doubt instructing Gestede he must seek offers for anyone he can get a fee for.
  7. If we were a normal run club, then I’d have absolutely no qualms selling Travis at all, knowing that a normal club would reinvest that money properly. He is the epitome of the Rovers rubber dinghy boys, goes hiding in any crucial match, praised for being a ‘shithouse’ but lacking in the basics (see the goal on Saturday). People will say we can’t sell as he’s an academy lad (so was Jason Lowe) He’s a solid Championship midfielder, but he’s not dragging you over the line to promotion (he barely played at Ipswich). That said, the money just goes into the black hole so what on earth would be the point of selling him at all. We’ve already shown that Rudy, Suhail and co aren’t up to the task of replacing players properly. Given we’re looking like relegation fodder right now, I’d much rather keep hold of him!
  8. Hyam is probably off as well if he won’t sign his ‘deal’
  9. Heard after the game Sreenivasa Rao personally offered Travis 1 million rupees to stay tonight. Venky's don't think this one is over and are prepared to double it.
  10. There seem to be at least some differences between what Tronstad and Ismael recon the truth to be. I would also not be overly shocked if Trav did not feel that Rovers have done everything they can to keep him (even in the last couple of weeks).
  11. despite my initial dismissal of him, sidnei looks a decent player
  12. Jesus wept. A leader of men he is not.
  13. Another embarassing night and an indication that this "plan" to have a team packed full of athletic cheap nobodies from random leagues and loads of academy graduates is only going to send us into imminent serious shit. If we go into a season with Michalski as number 2 goalkeeper then we are taking a ridiculous risk. Nowhere near being ready, quite clearly. Montgomery is also nowhere near being up to the standard, why are we playing a player that was in the 9th tier last season? Tyjon is the best of the 3 but he isnt ready either. De Neve's goal makes it a weird night because he was absolutely pitiful otherwise. Hendriksson looks totally lost too, can barely control the ball. Tavares was sloppy at times and is not a Travis replacement but showed up pretty well overall and certainly levels above those 2 mentioned. Otherwise, Cantwell is miles above anything else in our attack, @RevidgeBlue clearly has it in for him. Kargbo is literally just a great athlete and a terrible footballer. Gueye is a woeful striker. We are about 4 or 5 players short even before you consider sales. Including the depressing news that now our captain wants out of the shit show. The fact that hes desperate to go to Derby, that Eustace left for Derby, that Batth and Weimann left for Derby and Brittain desperately wanted to go to Boro sums us up. The club stinks.
  14. Ismael is being given his information by the Regime he works for. I doubt even he knows if that is the truth or not.
  15. I liked Ismael speaking the truth. Just wish it wasn’t all bad news…
  16. For all the shite these owners have brought I refuse to let myself get drawn into a "Derby County" pile on, I refuse to gasp at the might of Wrexham and Birmingham being in the league. I know what I've had supporting my club for 40+ years, this at the moment isn't my club.
  17. You are probably right. Come January, which manager will look at our squad and think, "I can save this lot from relegation"?
  18. The fact they've all been steered towards the door doesn't help either.
  19. And just to rub salt in the wounds the regime has designated that fixture as our '150th celebration' match. Can you think of a more embarrassing and shameful way to 'celebrate' our 150th than that?
  20. Trav to be stripped of captaincy after those comments from Val. Thank god we have Dominic Hyam to step in…
  21. Careful everyone - watch out - the Club and Regime are going to be working overdrive this next week in making Travis out to be the villain of the piece. They've started it already with the 'rejection' of their new contract offer and this is cranking it up a notch with him 'asking to leave' to join Derby. All part of the game being played - not Rovers fault, it's the player - just get your plastic snakes out and give them a wave. Poor old Elliott Jackson is - unwittingly I suspect - central to this - the club using him to get their narrative out in a late bid to pacify the fanbase. Sadly I fear the majority of our fanbase are that thick they will fall for it. They've done it so many times now that they are quite skilled at it and each and every time the twitterati and Venkygraph readers are pointing the finger of blame at those leaving and not the rancid parasites that infest Ewood.
  22. Valerian basically just confirmed Derby have made a bid well below Rovers valuation and that Derby are willing to double his wages
