  2. I believe Isaac Dunn was sent off early in the match.
  3. Fans Forum minutes not published after 3 weeks. However they have been busy writing their new Fan Engagement Plan, to tick the EFL box. Absolute drivel but confirms WATR are not involved and the FF will be the only communication. https://share.google/Lqy0OYVicpXSka7Tm
  4. Cantwell had minor injury so didn't travel. I know people are against loans, but you don't get much quality when your buys are £500k-£1m. We 100% need a couple of premium loans to give this squad a bit of quality and depth. Kroupi at Bournemouth would be top of my list if he's not in their first team plans this season.
  5. Also bare in mind nobody wants an injury preseason, although Travis lunge at this nearside said otherwise lol
  6. Looks to me like they just took advantage of a good level friendly at the last minute. No need to over analyse it.
  7. They met at 6 am today at Brockhall and will probably be in mid-air on the way back as I write this. No overnight stay in Hill on Friday. Had there been any travel delays the game might not have gone ahead. I know it was a friendly but this is so amateurish.
  8. Sadly, Chaddy, too many in our squad, as you see our squad, are simply not good enough and shouldn't be in the 25. Not one of our new signings has impressed. We looked disillusioned today and the season hasn't even started! Defensively we were shocking - no cohesion and too slow. Midfield no spark or creativity. - rarely seen Travis and Tronstad so disinterested. Up front - punchless. Only bright sparks for me were Toth (who looks a good goalie) and Kargbo for 20 minutes (though not sure he's 90 minutes in his locker). Montgomery and Mullarkey-Matthews aren't ready. Tyjon has undoubted talent but needs to be managed carefully (based on today, doubtful he's ready to start a game). It's not just one defeat it's the warning signs that need heeding. I think we need a minimum of 4 quality additions that go straight into the starting 11 - without those, I think it's going to be a long, long season with Rovers in the bottom 6.
  9. Kargbo and Gueye will make a good plan B. Hopefully we can hone the plan A.
  10. Buckley will get a club, prob league one, but no one will buy him for any noticeable modest fee. A good move for him now would be somewhere like Wigan.
  11. 58 Tests for Crawley at an average of 31 and no doubt he’ll have played 63 by the end of the Ashes… a fair number of very good cricketers pre this era would’ve loved anything like that kind of chance.
  12. Pears would get a few offers I would have thought, I’m struggling to see what Buckley has done to get any sort of interest though…..
  13. Pears will get a buyer somehow. Bucko will be given away.
  14. No idea why folk have got their knickers in a twist over a preseason friendly 🙄 won previous four, played well and everyone’s happy, lose one and now the ‘owners want us relegated’ 🤷🏻‍♂️ Players are not going to bust a gut one week before new season kicks off and risk injury! Heck had we done 4-0 today but lost players to injury people would have been in uproar asking why did we play that way a week before season starts. i agree we need a couple more players in and the new ones can’t be judged until the season properly starts, intrigued who the other new signing could be? Maybe someone need to ask Nixon 😂
  15. Crawley dismissal at the close sealed another poor day for England. We’re stuck with him in the Bazball era but in normal times he’d be dropped by now. Odds must favour India now
  16. The problem with offloading Pears and Buckley is that you need a buyer, to be able to sell.
  17. Yes I’d be very surprised if it isn’t baradji
  18. Its the bloke with a fractured foot no?
  19. Today
  20. Bit weird when we spent a good few days in Spain as well. NEC were due to play yesterday against Werder Bremen but it got cancelled, not sure if we were a late replacement but we still had adequate time to sort a better schedule for the trip. One slight positive from today was VI showing some passion on the sidelines, friendly or not, good to see that in a manager.
  21. The fact we haven't heard a peep about who this mystery signing is does not fill me with confidence. I'm thinking Belgium second division, hope I'm wrong
