Is an upgrade on Brittain.
-
An absolute toxic poisonous man, who I would imagine is the one bullying the local press. I felt something was amiss, when he supposedly came in to gain some work experience and is now somehow the main man. If I was in charge of the LT, I would rerun the story of his refusal to play and remind everyone, of what he really thinks of our club.

2025 Summer Transfer Thread. 😂

A predictably disastrous summer window off the back of a dreadful January window. Alebiosu is a downgrade on Brittian but hes by far our most promising signing. Otherwise its pretty disastrous. Morishita has shown glimpses too but can go AWOL. The defensive situation is an undoubted disaster. We have gone from being solid to being all over the place. Miller looks poor especially at centre back where we have left ourself predictably short. McLoughlin doesnt look particularly good either. De Neve and Henriksson are clearly so far off it that even with players like Hedges starting every game, they dont come on (or tonight De Neve did purely for injury time) even if it means not using all of our subs. Even Kargbo gets selected before them and he is not only shit but bone idle. Gudjohnsen was very poor today. His record at his previous club was worrying and maybe he was a panic signing. We have signed a midfielder on loan with a long term injury, another who is really poor and a third on loan who is functional but could never break into the team of 3 seperate Championship clubs. But even though Hyam, Dolan, Brittain, Batth and Travis are all gone, we have a "stronger squad." -

I never said it was or wasnt a penalty. Definitely looked a foul, not sure if it was in the box. But its this constant deflection of blame that I cant stomach. I dont come away from tonights game thinking about the referee, I come away with further concerns about how I see the season panning out with these players and this manager under this board and these dreadful owners. Im going to ask you a question and I expect that you will do your usual routine of going off on random tangents. Ismael stands today with a record at Rovers having won 6, drawn 3 and lost 11. This season, he has won 2 and lost 6. He isnt the most pressing issue at the club but ill focus on him just for a moment. Are you happy for him to continue at the club? Do you have faith that he can turn things around? And also, how do you reflect on the summer window and how our squad is shaping up, under this manager where do you see us finishing? On Kargbo, I remember last season after him making a couple of sub appearances, you deemed him a successful signing already and used him as an example of the merits of Gestede. How sadly wrong you was. Hes absolute dog shit. - Yesterday

Repeat that line up from tonight and Stoke will hammer us on Saturday. We are vulnerable at the back as no combination of any two centre backs are close to what we had with Hyam & Batth. I think we need to go with a flat back three with wing backs. Of course, we are short at CB so until Carter is back, Pickering would be cover! Ohashi has never looked like an out and out striker to me and always felt he would be better playing just off the target man. I would try….. It’s always Alebiosu and Ribeiro getting forward and getting crosses in, so just feel the wide players are pointless and tightening up the central defence and getting Ohashi in to take the burden of TC, who is trying to cover every blade of grass at the moment, would be better. Just my opinion. -

Exactly the same as what they did when they deliberately relegated the club from the Premier League to the Championship. -

I’m not sure why our go-to tactic appears to be to smash the ball over the heads of our forwards and ask them to chase defenders down, especially seeing as the one time we actually played a ball into the feet of a player running forward we actually created a chance and scored. I’m also not sure how Gudjohnsen stayed on for the whole 90 minutes - I’m not sure that he actually touched the ball in the first half and it’s like playing with 10. Most of all though, I’m not sure why I bothered going to watch. I don’t think there’s one player in that team that I’d be bothered if they left (Tronstadt maybe), I don’t have any faith in the manager, and the board - well the less said the better. It really does feel like the club I’ve supported since I was a boy has died and all that’s left is a rotten shell going through the motions. -
very good signing

Well you disagree with my post but I still by my post. Its was clear penalty not given, I thought it was penalty in real time and I've seen a replay and its a clear penalty, if you don't think it was, I just give up with you. The Ref was piss poor again at this level. No one has mentioned about fictious league table apart from yourself so maybe look at yourself here for coming up with this sort of BS. I blame Karbgo for the game, he gave the ball away and then didn't track back -

We refused to sign any player commanding a decent wage, sold any that did and it's already showing. This season's going to end in relegation. Selling Hyam on deadline day saw to that, no matter how they choose to dress it. We're changing centre back pairings every game because 2 of the 3 centre backs can't play this often and none stand out, for some reason Gestede is probably still smirking...... and for some reason he has a senior job at Rovers. Turmoil behind the scenes, no leadership, no owners present and a cheap squad that doesn't know the league and isn't up to it. Kargbo and De Neve can't keep Hedges out the team, a winger who doesn't know where the goals are.... inexcusable they didn't bring in upgraded wingers on both flanks and weakened the defence. I'd say sack the lot but what's the point........... Venky's are the real problem. Sadly it's their club.... and it's an embarrassment off the field. -
The scary thing is that he has less experience than Derek Shaw or Steve Waggott. And his boss Sufail Snake has less experience than him!
-
Get this arrogant , under-qualified ****** out of our club! He is the boardroom equivalent of Steve Kean...

We're now well into the next phase of managed decline. VI is a useful idiot so they won't get rid of him until it's too late. Then they'll appoint another one that can keep us where they are financially happy to be. -

Tragedy unfolding before our eyes and we are powerless to stop it. Club is toxic from top to bottom. Massive disconnect between fans and club. Manager is useless but has a 3 year contract. Let's hope there's enough supporters left to pick up the pieces when the inevitable occurs. Situation has never been worse. -

I'd happily never see Kargbo play for us again after that jog back, watching Swansea score. Disgraceful. -
He was very good tonight and provided an assist. He embarassed Kargbo, continually doing his job for him and showing him how it was done. So mesmerised was young Augustus, he decided to just give Swansea the ball to score the winner. Didn't bother chasing after it with his so called blistering pace as he couldn't be arsed. Fuckwit.
-
He's a good player, easily the best signing of the summer. But he's still a downgrade on who he replaced.
-
fear not,we`ve got the invisable man baraji and sideways sidnei to fire us up the league

I can't even suffer a photo of him tbh! Makes me want to vomit.

And Tronstad. Looking forward to absolutely nowt down at Ewood.
