  1. Past hour
  2. Agreed- which is more likely too- canโ€™t imagine Rovers offering him a contract as wouldnโ€™t have made sense, although them lot donโ€™t do anything that makes any logical sense
  3. Like Iโ€™ve said, I donโ€™t specifically have a problem with Rhodes in the role, he COULD be fine. But I feel like a club of our stature, utilising a relatively new role (previously an in-house responsibility of other staff) we would get someone who at least had experience of coaching or scouting, let alone the actual role itself. Even purely thinking of ex-players, Dunn, Neill, even ex-academy Keith Brown all have more qualification than Rhodes.
  4. I could not agree more, we had not a pot to piss in, but we had a far superior team, to what we have now.... Just maybe our scouting system and manager had more idea than the ones employed since 2010 ? Data running rules over footballing ability today... I just want Venkys, end of! I long for the days if Garner, Sellars, Hendry, Moran, Gayle etc We had far better footballers in those days.. Than this shower of shit we have today and the alleged legend Gestede would not get in the team.. A poor mans Jimmy Quinn! I forgot about Simon Barker and Alan Ainscow was three times the player Forshaw is! Venkys Out!
  5. Doubt that. If thereโ€™s one area where I would back Gueye over most people itโ€™s his penis
  6. You havenโ€™t seen enough to judge the players weโ€™ve replaced more than half of our first 11 with, yet in the sentence immediately before *checks notes* have decided the window could have been a 7/10?
  7. Today
  8. It's never heard of a loans manager before. And my first thought was that it was a completely made-up role and completely pointless. Admittedly we're have our struggles inputting passwords or whatever in order to register player transfers. But a specific person who actually does the paperwork for all of our loans? How many players do we loan or and how many in per season? Averaged over nine months, about one, maybe one and a half, per month. What else is he going to be doing or is it just that? We can afford someone to just look after loans but we can't afford a club shop in town or a matchday program. Bring back the late eighties, I was happier then
  9. That's a very specific piece of knowledge, which raises questions that I'm not sure I want the answers to.
  10. That cameo at Bramall Lane made me ill.
  11. I'd imagine it's a typo and should say wasn't.
  12. Dennis to Antalyaspor? A little strange sentence in the article regarding Rovers: "The 27-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Sky Bet Championship club Blackburn Rovers. The forward was offered a permanent deal after failing to make much impact at the club." https://dailynewshub.ng/transfer-emmanuel-dennis-set-for-antalyaspor-move/
  13. Which some loan managers don't but they have player experience of loans.
  14. And found an ex-player with no particular qualifications for the role. Some โ€˜searchโ€™ that was.
  15. Well clearly not otherwise he would have had a club in the last 12. Injuries stopped Wickham being a quality striker.
  16. Surely we can replace Gueye with a traffic cone?
  17. And? He's more ability in his penis than Mr Offside
  18. Canned Heat - Going Up The Country
  19. I would be getting Lewis Hall in this squad for the next matches. Quality How is Tomori playing for AC Milan? I would play Ben White next to Guehi at centre back
  20. One of yes but we seen good signs from Alebiosu so far. His best game was Hull away Disagree there. One of Ismael's main priorities signings type and player wise. If we sign a free agent centre back we have enough to January but signing a new centre back is number 1 priority come January window
  21. We are discussing Rovers and football issues/subjects. I dont see the problem
  22. Genuinely, can you two just get your own thread? Or just start DMing each other. Either or.
  23. Of course we will miss Brittain, he is the best right back in the league. Tavares has had shockers in both of the home games. Looked decent against the mighty Bradford though. Baradji has the feel of someone whose whereabouts will be still unknown come December. We didnt manage to get that pace in attack that we were so desperate for. Although considering that we have stripped the squad of experience, have nowhere near enough defensive cover and still big question marks over goals, it seems not as big of a deal.
  24. i know it was only Andorra he was up against but it looks like Anderson might have jumped ahead of Wharton in the search for a holding midfielder that spreads the ball around
  25. Alebiosu looked good so far, don't think we will miss Brittain too much but still miss him. McLoughlin has been solid signings. Looking forward to seeing Baradji play and we need an update were we are at injury wise. Tho he is someone Ismael wanted all summer. Same with Morishita.. Gudjohnsen is another one, I know not much about. Tavares looked good in a couple of games and poor last week. But it's a huge leap of gamble by Rovers but we still have plenty of championship experience around plus coaching staff who know this league very well. They will be plenty of ups and downs this season.
  26. Minutes should be out once amended and butchered. So around christmas 2026.
