The rumour that this person takes around £500,000 per year out of the club and has done so for a considerable time, suggests he will fight tooth and nail to preserve his own cushy situation at the expense of others - even if that (paradoxically) will result in the end of the club. The only theory I can speculate that might make sense is that the Venksters have given him carte blanche to take the money for as long as he can keep the club going with little or no fresh input from them and with a remit to generate regular sales to chip away at the sunk costs (with payments going back to India as sweeteners), but that the long game is to allow it to fail in a way that doesn't alert the football authorities. We had an obvious priority at CB once we "lost" Baath and Hyam but, as usual, we haven't treated it as an emergency and addressed it as quickly as possible. Once again scrambling about in the dying embers of a disastrous window. This lot never learn. Should have kept both---obvious.
