Harchester United & Melchester Rovers ? -
Please could you explain, in plain English, how & why the SBI would have to write off debt if Venky’s decide to sell the club. I am struggling to grasp your logic.

Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach

This is a key point. As much I want Suhail and Gestede kicked to the curb, it doesn't deal with the underlying issue. First the remit was to get Kean & Anderson out, then Shaw, Agnew, Singh, Waggott etc... There comes a point where you have to accept that the more things change, the more they stay the same. There has been a conveyor belt of these clowns running through the club from the moment Venky's took over. For as long as they own the club, they will keep employing impostors who can't believe their luck. Any professional with an ounce of integrity and self-respect doesn't last two seconds. Now and again we might accidentally stumble on a winning formula and put on a facade of normalcy... until the club realises we're doing too well and course-corrects into the iceberg. -

Went today…a BMW X5 parked in front of us…Suhail emerged from the passenger seat. I’m on blood pressure medication so resisted all temptation to give him what for… Thought we started quite well on the whole, created at least 3 decent chances but when we missed them all we all turned to each other & said “Well we know what’s coming now don’t we?” And so it transpired. Coventry picked us apart quickly & ruthlessly & then they seemed to realise that they could conserve energy & so they stepped off the accelerator and coasted till full time. Rovers in that 2nd half looked like a lower league team away in the FA Cup against objectively more skilful, more experienced and confident opponents. One look at the bench made you realise that options were thin on the ground and our fate was sealed. Let there be no doubt, this club is in the thick of a relegation battle. The stench is all-pervading. I’m no Ismael fan but let’s all agree on one thing, he isn’t the cause of this nonsense & his removal would effectively be shuffling the deckchairs on the Titanic. -

I thought Henriksson did OK until he seemed to lose his rag with one of the Coventry players and Tord who ironically scored shortly afterwards. This team is not good enough to get a result at Coventry who are on fire. But we do need to start getting wins against the likes of Charlton, Derby and Sheffield Wed or we will be in deep trouble. -

100%. Just as much to blame as the other two. Was also prepared to smear Travis in public as well to help ensure that that particular move went through -

Feels a nailed on relegation this season unless there is a change in manager. Even then it’s a nightmare task for even a world class manager with our squad. Gestede and Ismael should be fired tomorrow if the owners took any interest in the club. -

You need a solid coach or manager in the Championship, and you’ve got to know how to win ugly. The problem we’ve got is that Ismael’s track record doesn’t inspire much confidence. -
How did Henriksson play today? I’m only vaguely interested to know really and I sense my apathy is shared by many as I’ve seldom seen such a quiet match thread.

He came in and agreed to work with one hand behind his back whilst toeing the company narrative at all times, on the strength of a 3 year contract. They then, as they've done to most of the previous ones, tied on of his legs as well. He nodded along so it's hard to have any sympathy for the man himself even if you accept he's on a hiding to nothing. -

I don’t get it, how is he honest? He seemingly blames anyone but himself and has publicly called out players too. I dislike him and a very poor manager -

I don’t mind Val generally. I quite like his honesty and feel he comes across pretty well. My biggest issue with him is how he drinks the club kool-aid and this makes him complicit. I don’t think many managers would be able to perform under these restrictions and Val is either extremely confident in his own ability or just happy to accept a very decent salary. Somehow the club actually did manage to find two managers who were able to perform minor miracles despite the situation, but of course they soon wanted out when they worked out how rotten the club is. Val doesn’t appear to have what it takes, but that’s not really a big criticism as few could. Our squad is also a lot worse than what JDT and JE had to work with. Sacking him would only be rearranging the deck chairs on the HMS Venky. -

Re their back four - everybody wants to play when you’re winning. “ How that knock you got last week son, Oh that, it’s nothing boss, I’ll be fine for Saturday “. On the other hand ———-.
