  1. Past hour
  2. Most Millwall fans live in the outer London boroughs these days (likes of Bromley) and into Kent, an absolute faff trying to get to Blackburn for half 12… still, just get a hotel ay.
  3. Giving them a few weeks notice doesn't make it right - the logistics make it really difficult for travelling supporters. Millwall fans travelling by train to Preston could catch the 07.11 from Euston. Firstly they would have to travel across London which will be around an hour from Lewisham. It gets into Preston at 10.51. The earlier train is 06.08 which will mean them leaving home at around 5 am I'm sure if you were a regular away match attendee and the changes had a direct effect on you you might think differently (at least I hope you would). PS sorry for so much detail but I'm just trying to emphasise my point to Chaddy who doesn't seem to grasp the issues this causes for genuine supporters.
  4. I have a sinking feeling that this is going to be a long season of us chanting regularly from the sidelines, "You don't know what you're doing..." and not, as is the tradition, directing the remark at the ref 😞 WTF happened to a 'normal' set up of a 'manager' setting the agenda for the players he needs in his side to play a style and system that is his brainchild and operating within the financial constraints specified by the Board? Seems to me that all the sophistry, subterfuge and slight of hand that comes with a set up where an inexperienced and unqualified patsy uses his naive and paper thin judgment to dance to the tune of a thick as pigshit no-mark (also, by the way, dancing to someone else's tune) hiding behind a poorly constructed and intentionally impenetrable barricade, leads us nowhere but to a dead end. Dead end. Dead, End. What. The. Actual. Fuck???? VENKYS OUT! UNQUALIFIED AND DELUDED TEA-BOY PATSIES OUT! HIDING BEHIND SHITE BARRICADES MORONIC GOBSHITES WITH NO FOOTBALLING CREDENTIALS OUT! GRR!
  5. That’s why I think there’s been a delay tbh, I don’t think the banked on needing two. The Miyoshi interest was weeks before he came on for Bochum. Baradji has always been their number 1 target so it’s going to be interesting to see how that plays out
  6. It depends on who the "non esc" option is in both cases
  7. Miyoshi as the need is greater on that position we simply can’t have hedges being the starting right winger offers next to nothing going forward - has his defensive capabilities but we need more attacking output
  8. Yep a lot of those clubs have multiple sporting disciplines, as do Barcelona.
  9. Today
  10. Or he has indicated he wants to move to the US & will not be signing another deal with Rovers beyond his current one (2026 with a years option) Or the option is "silly money" And all of those options assume (probably correctly, based on past events) that San Diego have announced the right details rather than Rovers
  11. How does being the 7th game kicking off at half 12 buried through the red button give you ‘exposure’? That’s no material difference than a midweek being behind the red button, I don’t recall ‘exposure’ being the buzzword then. So no actual rationale but just parroting EFL/Sky PR, sounds about right.
  12. I love the look of these and have ordered me one and one for my son, for his up coming 35th birthday. Im sure he will be delighted with it. It makes sense commemorating the 150th this way, instead of what the club are offering and we will wear them with pride. Great effort to all involved.
  13. Buckley going as part of the deal for Al-Sahafi?
  14. Back to Tugay, Souness has said he took Tugay to Rangers then to Rovers because he rated him as the equivalent of Zico and Alan Ball - players whom in his prime Souness couldn't get close to. And yes I do think Adam has the potential to be an all time great. His shimmies and passes catch the eye but his ball winning tackling stats for Palace last season were so good as to be almost surreal. Bask to the last 15 minutes v Chelsea, Chelsea were so dominant because they were mostly playing it around Adam, not trying to go through his territory....
  15. And it's their choice whether to attend or not. If I was going Southampton or Portsmouth game then I would be staying overnight and book a hotel. That's my choice. If I took the missus then we normally make it weekend holiday. Of course I can empathise given I am match day going fan
  16. Yeh, it's so dodgy it has come out looking like a baseball cap
  17. Yet you keep going on and on about week after week, month after month for 12 months now. What have done other than moaning on here? What other time could the games be play? Maybe 5.30pm and 8pm on Saturday then 12pm, 2.30pm 5pm and 7pm Sunday? Blimey if they did that you would complaining and moaning then? Fans have been plenty of notice of games being moved which they never had before. You planned your time, book hotel and book time of work. If I want to go to Saturday away game, I have to book a day off work, but do I complain or moan like you do, no cos it's my choice to work nights and want to that away game.
  18. In a normal world, and i know the world is a bit xxxx right now, the need for any football fan to stay in hotel accommodation for a match is just bonkers. There are exceptions of course for those fans of clubs who live in the far flung quarters of England. Millwall ain't that. For them to travel up to us for a 12.30 KO is just a piss take for those fans. Can't you empathise with those who wouldn't want to pay their hard earned brass on a bloody hotel room rather than travelling to and from South London in one day at their leisure? It's a bloody football match not a long romantic weekend ffs.
  19. Nick posted our interest in Miyoshi a couple of days before EJ. We dont why we haven't sign Miyoshi yet. I do think a right winger signing should have number 1 priority this summer. Why we haven't sign yet we dont know the circumstances. I hope we sign Miyoshi. He impressed me at Birmingham and I wanted us to sign him last summer.
  20. It's true, you can see the quality, even from the photos. 🌹
  21. If games kicked off at 9am in the future chaddy would lap it up. I'm tiring of his self entitlement and not considering anyone but himself. A staunch fan of Rovers no doubt about that but more than a bit selfish in not seeing a bigger picture. He says that the likes of Millwall supporters have a 4and a half hour journey north to play us at 12. 30pm. Well, that's true but going to an away fixture for me isn't traipsing over 200 miles, going in the ground, watching a game and then fucking off back home pronto. All for 90 minutes on the pitch. A lot more to an away game than that and chaddy knows it. 12.30 kick offs should be fucked off unless it's a potentially naughty derby fixture. Period.
  22. Yesterday
  23. Kargbo also said when he joined that the deal nearly happened in that summer.
  24. I do know how it works. I just think it shows a total disregard to match going fans, and I dont see why they need so many on at one time. Its clearly not me who has seen no justification for it. Just repeatedly saying that exposure increases revenue (no shit, sherlock) doesnt justify it. I know the greed benefits clubs so in turn players, directors and agents. It benefits Sky to have so many games on, so they can keep driving their prices up. It all sticks 2 fingers up to the inconvenienced and out of pocket fans. Yet you lap it up.
  25. Permanent purchase option must mean Rovers don’t believe in him much. Too bad, this would have been an interesting test of his ability otherwise.
  26. But if the cheap foreigners play regularly they’ll be converted and won’t take up a slot. Toth won’t use a slot next season as far as I’m aware.
