  1. Past hour
  2. You can tell you’re a nice guy, most on here would get along with you having a pint, however you are so blind to everything BRFC it’s frightening.
  3. Harsh…a fan shows empathy and…🤷‍♂️
  4. Spurs and Leeds are looking at him aswell. Birmingham willing to 60k a week. We can't afford that simple
  5. What’s your view on the club no longer even having a Sky Sports subscription?
  6. The Government can't get involved in the running of football. As far as the FA, EFL and the football authorities Venkys are running the club properly, wages are paid on time, bills paid on time, Selling players to fund the club.
  7. what are going on about cos you lost me here RF99?
  8. Good idea can't believe no one ever thought of doing that!
  9. Or maybe that particular people actually knows alot more of what is going on behind the scenes then any of us actually know. But you want and others to banned Ismael from telling the supporters what is actually going on by sugar coating the truth or not answering questions? which one do you want?
  10. There's pictures circulating of completely empty bars on the concourse at half time too, fair play.
  11. ‘I’d finished the football season feeling ok. I’d be about 30. Just before we started training again one of the guys at work decided to form a rugby league team. So I turned up just for the training. I’d not played rugby since school. I went on the wing because I was quick ( or so I thought ) . We’d been played about 10 minutes when my centre made a break, drew the cover, and gave me the ball. I thought - ” I’ll just burn this lot off now , a straight run to the try line” . Bloody hell, it felt like I was running in treacle, my legs started burning, the covering players caught me before I’d gone 25 to 30 yards ! That yard of pace I though I had and I relied on to get me out of trouble was gone forever.
  12. So where was that support when we protested all those years ago? I remember marching, and I remember others doing a lot, lot more. Most people weren't interested then. They're no more interested now. We are and have been for many years, a basket case of a club. The number of well known media people who basically told us to shut up because Venkys pay our bills was amazing. And still it goes on. A manager nobody hoped for, a captain who wants away, an inability to sign a decent striker so that we actually look like scoring, players leaving for decent sums but no adequate replacements, a fanbase so disenchanted they don't trust anyone, and absentee owners who haven't been seen in over a decade. Don't try to cheer us up. We know what's wrong and also know there doesn't seem to be any way of getting out of the parlour and completely undeserved mess we find ourselves in.
  13. Dexys Midnight Runners and the Emerald Express - Come On Eileen
  14. Indeed. ‘Protest’ here has always been walking away.
  15. He also called the coalition statement the other week 'a load of nonsense' on Twitter, so yeah.....says it all really.
  16. Detroit Emeralds - Feel The Need In Me
  17. Thank God we've escaped signing all these duds thanks to our unwillingness to spend any money. In contrast to us just to show what an ambitious Club look like Birmingham are apparently hoping to add more firepower by bringing Mitrovic in. Stansfield/Mitrovic/Kyogo v Ohashi/Gueye/Hedges Hmmm...................
  18. We really need a win and keep doing it . It's crazy we have lost three in a row right at the start of the season.
  19. You mean he wants the going rate?
  20. It’s not just at Ewood Matty. Apart from the usual chants inside the ground there’s hardly any real dissent or protests anywhere. We all know rovers have a small core support of fans who will turn up whatever the circumstances simply because the club is their life. I was like that when I started in ‘62. Don’t forget a lot of fans had walked away after the ‘60 cup final when tickets were apparently very hard to get hold of. There was a lot of anger with stories of players selling tickets outside woolworths etc. Many fans vowed never to return and didn’t. Losing fans isnt new to rovers. We should really admire those that will go whatever situation the club is in. Now if all of those fans could do that while still acknowledging that the clubs a sh1tshow. That would help😀
  21. Maybe read the reply to Simon before you jumped in here. Here was the reply I think QPR signing Karamoko Dembélé and someone who plenty on here would have like here 12 months ago. Can play fROM the right. Kone could be smart signing if he can step up. Kelman being sold by QPR was a surprised for me. Did well at Leyton last season I would have taken Will Lankshear on loan from Spurs but we don't want loan players here from Ismael's comments. I would have taken Rúben Rodrigues from Oxford before he gone to Brazil Millwall paid 5m for Coburn which I think is over paid Kyogo did nothing yesterday and after paying £9m for I was expecting much more. Also you need to created chances for your strikers and that is an area of concern but you overall this in your comment. We could have Shearer and Newell but with good service into the box for them to score goals it would be pointless having there there. Hence why we need a good right attacking replacement and good Travis replacement but also get Cantwell firing on all cylinders hence why I thought it was good decision to give him the Captain armband.
  22. The Beatles - I Feel Fine (number 1 when I was born)
  23. Nixon said it didn't he? Just parroting things I've read here
  24. I tend not to believe anything anyone says until it happens,on either "side" of the argument.
  25. Mulgrew and Downing were quite a pair in that regard
