  6. Today
  7. Any proof that Moussa Baradji actually exists??
  8. Only time will tell who is right.
  9. Beg to differ, can see both O'Riordan & Edmondson making the step up in time, Duru possibly too if he comes back
  10. Anyone who is now on loan.
  11. I doubt that any of them will play much championship football.
  12. He joins up with a couple of former players there, Adam Caddick & Pat Gamble (who is now on his 3rd team this season, following short spells at both Marine & Warrington Town), might play this evening I guess
  13. I said at the time it was a strange move to give him another year.
  14. My 2 cents/pence: - O'Riordan: A successful loan so far. - Edmondson: Good he's getting regular gametime at NLN, and a step up from last year's loan, but he is turning 20 next month, so you start to wonder if he should be moving up the pyramid soon. I presume that will be revisited in January when his loan is due to expire. - Olson: A shame he's struggling to break into a middling L2 side. Maybe he's simply hitting his level and he is turning 21 next month, but you also want to give CBs a bit more growing space. There can still be some value in 'unsuccessful' loans in terms of sniffing out whether a player's good enough (if he can't force his way into a L2 side...), but looking like a poor loan. - Pratt: huh, didn't realise how little he's played so far, but presumably a reason they extended that loan. Kinda like Olson, I don't think he's considered one of our blue chip CBs in the first place, like Atcheson/Litherland (I'm more curious if/when those two will get a loan!) - Barrett: He was an odd signing (and re-signing...) in the first place, so who knows with that one! Not too bothered with him only getting that one Cup app so far... - Duru / O'Grady-Macken: Lumping these together as, whatever the merits/success of their loans, it sounds like both cases were more a matter of shipping a player out than a development loan, which is a shame (more about Duru, no idea about O'Grady-Macken other than his random sub cameo!) Maybe I'm being too forgiving/blase, but aside from some disappointment about Duru apparently being shipped out, and Olson stalling, the O'Riordan and maybe Edmondson loans are the only relevant ones to me (not that I don't appreciate your loan reports 🙂) (FYI on the 'questionable' terminology, that's borrowed from the NFL and other N American sports where injuries are often classified pre-game as either 'doubtful' (less than 25%) or 'questionable' (50% or less) in terms of their likelihood of being available to play. It's a regulation related to betting/not letting teams hide or surprise with injuries)
  15. I'll be dead by then.
  16. Billy Fury - Last Night Was Made For Love
  17. They were in them days this Brazil team isn't a patch on the old Brazil teams
  18. Spot on. They've denied it all, but based on the treatment of the LET and Elliott Jackson, it's quite evident how they treat people that aren't 'aligned'.
  19. Riyadh Rovers has a hell of a ring to it.. Buckley might fancy a game or two as well.
  20. One full block already sold out, half to go
  21. You would, if we were ever rid of Venkys et al, and managed to get back to the top flight It's a slippery slope, and a step towards franchises & clubs upping sticks and moving, we we may end up becoming Riyadh Rovers Even if we are stuck with Venkys forever, once it enters the Premier League it won't stop there either, it will filter down
  22. To tell the truth, I don't care if they do play premiership games abroad.
  23. Billy Bland - Let The Little Girl Dance
  24. Except for the most important time.
  25. Pinning our midfield hopes on a currently injured player who until recently was playing in Serie C/D, then playing for the side rock bottom in the Swiss league is a new kind of desperation.
  26. If he is levels above not just what we currently have, but also Travis, then it may yet prove to have been a gamble worth taking, despite the delay in his debut (assuming he actually gets fit and signs permanently) Looking for a silver lining in that these months should have given him time to learn some of the language (he spoke no English during the summer) and get settled in
