  1. Past hour
  2. Pull the other one Chaddy. You repeat yourself on here all the time. If you genuinely can't see that, it's not for me to go dredging up posts, it's for you to have a good think about it. You and RF99 have had so many circular discussions I can't even count. And it's not necessarily a criticism, we all repeat our points on here. I'm just saying don't throw stones in glass houses.
  3. Go back to the old European Cup, European Cup-winners Cup and Uefa Cup All 3 of them prestigious knockout competitions with no leagues Won't happen of course because TV money needs more games and TV money talks
  4. my reply wasn't towards you Matty! The European competitions need a small revamp and what they are actually about. When you are knock out of one of competition you shouldn't enter another one
  5. I can't say that has been my experience when speaking or emailing people at Rovers. Good advice if you only attend to Saturday 3pm kick off aswell
  6. You really are Captain Obvious at the moment. Yes, I’m quite aware that Brentford deserve to be in the PL, a very well run football club. However, for me, *personally* (I.e this is a forum for opinions, not just stating facts) I would like a better geographic spread in the top division, if that’s ok with you?
  7. and what comments are those bluebruce?
  8. Fulham, Brentford and Brighton fully deserved to in the PL and they should be The Champions League format can't/won't be change of the power of bigger clubs but UEFA don't want that change either. I would prefer it straight knock out competition over 2 legs but never going to happened. The cups winners should be in their own version of European cup competition and the runner ups of the competitions should qualify for Europe not revert to the league position.
  9. That's a pretty attacking lineup you have here! Wowsers. But I think I understand what you mean, this is how we would be positioned on the pitch if completely dominating the game and had the opposition pinned back in their box. That said not sure Tronstad would be the deepest player. .. Also - there is no way we are going to sign 10 players. We just don't have the capacity to manage more than six or seven tops. So for me I would propose : Out : Dolan, JRC Do not renew : Dennis, Forshaw, Sanderson, Wiemann (would keep but injuries means we should probably swerve), Woodrow, ACB, Beck (I would sign if Liverpool were up for it, but I think they will want to retain him or move him on to another loan) Keep : Toth, Pears, Hyam, Baath, Wharton, Carter, Riberio, Brittain, Pickering, Tronstand, Travis, Buckley, Cantwell, Kargbo, Hedges, Buckley, Baath, Ohashi, Gueye, Leonard, Promote : Montgomery, Tyjon Just to standstill we will need to find seven players (2 out + 7 do not renews - 2 promoted from squad). Personally I think that's about the maximum our recruitment team can realistically handle, and so I would be keeping the likes of Hyam, Hedges, Pears and Buckley as if we move them on as well we will probably just end up with a smaller squad as we won't manage to sign anybody, and if we do it will be rushed low quality options. Finding and signing good players takes time and money, and I think supporters massively under estimate how difficult it is. Those seven we will (try) to sign I reckon will be a combination of - 1 left footed centre half - 1 right back - 2 centre mid - 2 wingers / wide forwards - 1 striker
  10. Today
  11. Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band - Does This Bus Stop At 82nd Street?
  12. Fulham and Rovers were neck and neck a few years ago but look at them now. They have a billionaire owner but so do we! Their new stand, which has a setting directly looking down at the thames is the last word in Luxury. Cost £100M and membership starts at £3000 a season but most holders are paying much more.. We can't even keep Ewood Park clean. We are left behind like rubbish.
  13. Half the league has turned into the likes of Fulham and Brentford. 😴
  14. Funny how the high number of London clubs in the Premier League also correlates with it being shit...
  15. Are they aware that without a season ticket you can enjoy every Saturday 3pm home kick off, in fact if all your bothered about is saturday 3pms then you're better off without an ST.
  16. The AI vibe is strong through all their comms… not a good time to be a ‘social media officer’, you’d wager.
  17. I know I’m late to this but this is one of the worst adverts / angles I can think of, it’s like they just used an AI to come up with words. So is there a season ticket option that just covers Saturday 3pm games? Should I ignore the other games? Bizarre
  18. Why is it ok for you to make the same comments repeatedly but not for others?
  19. Not sure where to ask this is anyone else having trouble with the rovers app on their i phone since the last update after signing in it only shows news from april
  20. Disappointing to see Forest lose form and fall away in the final games. They've had an excellent season and I'd dearly love them to make the CL instead of Chelsea and Villa, particularly Chelsea. Nobody likes them. Three "big" northern clubs going up is good will make the PL better balanced next season. Shame none of the London clubs are going down. There's too many in the top flight. Target for next season any of the London clubs and/or Bournemouth, Brighton for relegation - to be replaced by more north of England clubs of course
  21. Maybe its time for a poll? 😉
  22. Can’t call it that for obvious reasons. ’Mega League’, ‘’Elite League’, ‘Cartel League’, maybe?
  23. I agree, but if they are to insist on having it this way then the competition really needs a name change. With the new format they rolled out this year it has pretty much become the European Super League in all but name, so may as well change it to be called that now.
  24. Waggy, Waggy, Waggy… ⚪️🔵
  25. Its on my list, I hear its very good, but not seen it yet chaddy. I recorded it Tony, I'll be watching it later.
  26. One for @StubbsUK 😁 #delegation 👀
  27. If they wanna be mad at anyone, it should be the board for not offering TAA a new contract last season.
