  1. Past hour
  2. Work you do to keep track of developments is god-tier, and it's not something that is reported anywhere else. None of us would have a clue if you weren't posting on the topic. God knows its not something the LT or BBC Lancs would ever report on
  3. Will give the benefit of the doubt and assume sarcasm. New poster so otherwise, a club plant.
  4. Come on exciting times ahead. Players shipped off who don’t want to be here the snakey rats and getting young and hungry players. Excited for the season with a top manager in charge 🔵⚪️
  5. Venkys have today filed another Civil Miscellaneous Application with the court. They’ve previously used these to try and get interim relief whilst their main case is still pending. For example, they used one of to seek permission to send the £11 million in October ‘23 and they used another in Sept ‘24 to try and have the guarantee condition removed. The last one (May this year) was heard roughly a month after the papers were lodged - I’ll keep my eyes peeled…
  6. and back to Adam. theres one thing lacking from his game that could hold him back, his workrate. He isn’t the modern all action midfielder that runs and tackles for the full 90. He isn’t one who’s going to dictate the possession for you or put opposition players under constant pressure. He’s the one with the silky skills that used behind the top strikers in the world can be devastating. If he did combine that workrate with his obvious exceptional talent he would be one of the best in the world. I don’t think he will.
  7. Five of loaves, three of fish. feeds five thousand, piece of piss.
  8. What exposure? That's a 7:30am kickoff on the East Coast and a 5:30am kickoff on the West Coast of the US. We have new media darlings Wrexham and Birmingham in the league - both owned by Americans. Surely their new US fans won't want to wake up at that time to watch them?
  9. It's clear they're looking for ANYTHING to latch on to. This club treats its fans with contempt.
  10. That's a really good point. As a kid I used to play regularly on Saturday mornings. Then back home for dinner and then off to the match - or straight to an away match if that was do'able. That would have been impossible with 12.30 kick-offs and might have meant I never got into the habit of regularly watching Rovers. I ended up being a regular at Ewood for the next 30 years!
  11. If that was the case we'd have fast-tracked Duru to the first team and not bothered with Alebiosu. For whatever reason they just don't seem to fancy Duru.
  12. While baffling seems about right.
  13. Today
  14. It does feel like we’re scrambling around for every single penny.
  15. It's clearly a financial thing - him, Buckley and JRC being ushered out as they signed deals under Broughton. Probably all on 10k+ pw and doesn't fit their model of you need to be a starter to earn that. On the other hand, if Pears rocked up to pre-season unable to train fully because of a dodgy hair transplant then completely understand why club want him moved - but that can't come at the expense of having an actual back up goalkeeper.
  16. I think it probably comes down Rovers being distressed seller again, and the puttaince in the pre arranged fee is probably a few pennies more than the compensation if he moves to the states at the end of his contract
  17. Well we have an option so in effect he is contracted to us to 2027 if we want him. So we have voluntarily pre-agreed a transfer value with San Diego. It's a bit of a puzzling one - what is there in it for us to pre-agree a transfer fee? His wages won't be massive so it's not like we would be desperate to get him off our books? If he goes and has a stormer and his value goes into 7 figures we have to accept the lower fee. If he has a bad time he gets sent back. Confusing.
  18. San Diego is also a wonderful place (my favourite city in the US). Can't blame anyone for choosing to make that move.
  19. I find it bizarre he has been frozen out for Michaleski, can only be a financial thing as he is clearly a better and more experienced keeper at this time.
  20. Sadly, the only chance he comes back in January is if his loan is a disaster
