  1. Past hour
  2. Refuse to believe that’s true. Can’t see Brittain entertaining Derby and doesn’t seem to be too upset on the recent training footage in Spain.
  3. Sounds even less like he could be Brittain's replacement then. The article is talking bollocks methinks.
  4. That was the game when Savage got sent off fairly early IIRC. Bellamy won us that game almost single-handed. Although seemed to be a knob-end as a bloke - I guess that was partly due to his ultra-competitiveness that made him perform like he did in that match.
  5. We really shouldn’t be wasting 3million (sceptical we would even pay that amount) on a player who we won’t likely see until Xmas or after?
  6. Eustace needs a restraining order. Got his hands all over us. Will need to start nailing cutlery to the tables at this rate.
  7. Didn't the late great Howard Kendall pilfer a few from this club after he left for Everton ? It happens, if you work with good players you're going to want to take them with you but you need you're new club to back you and pay them. That's a luxury, how do we know he didn't want to sign a load of Brum players when he came here and they went down but was told no chance ?
  8. Derby are spending a good amount of cash. However....in their shoes, would we be happy as fans? The players they are signing didnt manage to get Rovers into the playoffs last year and lets not forget Eustace hadn't won a game with them in 11. The football was bleak. Obviously, I'd rather we kept (some) of them and we were spending. Perhaps Eustace is still rather bitter.....
  9. They've done well to sell 323 more considering the ridiculous hike.
  10. I'd still sign him. Cracking player for the long term. CB who can cover LB in the interim.
  11. Hope there aren't as many red cards. πŸ™‚
  12. Nicko saying story not true. No deal agreed. Personally think he'll end up at Boro rather than Derby. Surely Derby will be in the same position as Sheff W and Hull next season. They are gambling big time.
  13. The eye test. He played very well, consistently.
  14. Was sent an email by the club promoting the deal- clicked on it, tried again, the Rovers web page said it failed but I got a text message from Revolut it had gone through and sure enough I got email confirmation! Woohoo Hope the game is as exciting as trying to pay to watch it...
  15. Same article is saying that we want Issiah Jones from Luton as his replacement. He's out for 3 months with a stress fracture in his back.
  16. That one - along with Palace in 89. My two worst (on-field) moments as a Rovers fan
  17. I was there for that one. Was a real 'FFS' moment!
  18. This sort of thing used to happen in the early to mid 70's when Ken Furphy took Tony Field and Terry Garbutt with him to Sheffield United and Gordon Lee took Sir Roger Jones and Graham Oates with him to Newcastle. But back then we genuinely didn't have a pot to piss in, and the players concerned were moving up to the top flight from a division (or two) below. We didn't have billionaire owners and the players weren't being forced to make a sideways move to Clubs in the same division for more money. Fuck off Venky's, Pasha and Gestede.
  19. I don't mind the Guiness 0, but I've found every lager I've tried has that weird underlying taste to it which I just don't like. I should try a couple of the recommendations here, but most pubs just tend to have the usual Becks Blue, Heineken 0 etc.. which are awful. The Koppaberg Fruit Cider Alcohol Free tastes normal, but that is because the alcoholic version tastes like pure sugar anyway.
  20. Fucking hate the people running this club
  21. They've done well to sell 323 more considering the ridiculous hike.
  22. That's what was said about the Armada.
