  1. Past hour
  2. In that case couldn't the fans forum complain to the EFL and ask them to take the matter up with the club ?
  3. I think the EFL rules - which to a degree may be superseded by the new rules in the Football Governance Act - are that clubs are required to meet twice a season with a representative group of supporters. Not sure what the rules if any are regarding the release of minutes but I doubt if a delay of 2 or 3 weeks in release of the minutes means that those rules have been broken.
  4. Looking forward to the women tomorrow. No predictions here but surely we have to play better. Low block? 😉 Spain most of possession? Who knows? On a side note one thing that irritates. Spain and ‘Pep’ football, (which of course is ubiquitous here now in other teams) obviously highly successful and highly skilful. But…. …take an old fashioned ‘English’ full back challenge on a winger –honest attempt to get the ball, gets it badly wrong and of course it looks horrible and (nowadays) yellow card ensues. The one that irritates is the ‘Pep’ foul – so called weaker side gets the turnover only for the ‘classier’ side to stop the breakaway with what looks like an innocuous foul (the sneaky trip, the push, the pull of shirt etc). This stops breakaways and potential goals – Fernandinho the master – doesn’t look spectacularly bad and often no punishment. You can rotate the person doing the ‘innocuous’ foul too. Anyway, good luck lionesses.
  5. This part is definitely incorrect, all loans whether they are over or under 21 have to be registered. Still pretty certain that Leonard and Montgomery would need registering this coming season.
  6. I believe they are completely breaching the EFL rules on fan engagement if this becomes the only vehicle
  7. The recently enacted Football Governance Act requires that clubs hold regular meetings with a representative group of supporters.
  8. Trust me, I'm extremely frustrated by the rules, but will respect them. Falling out with our fellow supporters is the last thing we need given how hard we've worked to bring the coalition together based on mutual respect. However what I do promise. If the minutes dont reflect what was said then I will be first to break ranks and clear them up. Ive always stood for transparency (I dont know any other way,) This is the supporters club being dismantled and I will always stand by my pledge to members of supporters groups I represent to always act honestly and with the utmost integrity. I've asked tonight where we are up to on mutually agreed minutes amongst the supporter attendees and no doubt will be emailed back once that communication is read. I was asked to attend by the club as the only ewood comms open , and against my own judgement chose to go. I got some points across but as you'd possibly appreciate one meeting was never going to be enough to discuss 15 years of complete incompetence
  9. Definitely has to be under 21. Doesn’t matter if it’s a loan or academy product. So we could loan players u21 and still have them in the 25 man squad if we have reached that limit
  10. Not sure on the fine details - possibly or maybe it's like the under 21 euros where you can play up to the age of 23 if born within a cut off date🤷🏻‍♂️
  11. This has all the makings of a YouTube player. Some shocking first touches tied into some great skilful turns. Some great finishes matched with some toe bungs. If we end up with the Aldi version (although this guy's never been sold for any actual money) then a strong mobile striker with a yard of pace ticks my boxes
  12. Is there a governing body, that says that clubs must hold these meetings ?
  13. Do you think there’s a point where no communication would be the better option?
  14. Is this definitely correct? I was under the impression that anyone 21 and over had to be registered, which would include Leonard and Montgomery.
  15. Absolutely no chance. Been linked with Monaco for €5m. Not a chance he's coming here.
  16. Currently strong in defensive areas (but with Brittain set to leave), strong CM (but with Trav likely to leave), very weak attacking options. De Neve, Tyjon, and Kargbo totally unproven at this level, Ohashi is good, Gueye a handful but very erratic and will never be a regular goal scorer, Leonard an injury write off, Cantwell is talented, and Hedges is simply not good enough. We've lost 5 attacking players over the summer - Dolan, Weimann, Dennis, Cozier-Duberry, and Woodrow (albeit the latter 3 completely ineffective and offered nothing). We absolutely need 3 more attacking additions - RW, ST, AM. Presume Baradji will replace Trav, and then it's 3 additions on top of that. 4 if and when Brittain goes.
  17. Basically, I’m not breaking confidence, as, this is the only current communication open with the club. Breach that and we’ve nowt at all. I understand the frustration and so do the entire Forum, but that’s the lay of the land.
  18. This Indian pair have dug in well. It’s very nicely poised still and I’m expecting a close finish tomorrow evening.
  19. As @bluebruce says above, I’m not sure how anyone can have watched last season and say Cantwell is our best player. He’s our best known, but was far from our best. Thats not me criticising him as such, as I feel he’s got an important part to play. But watching him, you can say why he’s ended up here and isn’t on any top clubs radar.
  20. Cantwell? He may be gifted but at this stage that's a strong claim. Wasn't even one of our top 4 players last season.
  21. Now that's a reel I like the look of. Strength, technique, dribbling, quite quick, good vision. Bit of exciting flair in there too. Loves a back heel and knows how to use it. If he's also top scorer in the Conference League as stated, I think we can file this under 'I wish'.
  22. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1731002142005736/ Sorry not sure if I've done that properly
  23. Broggan & Decania,, lol Should be Boggan & Decandia
  24. Today
  25. Newcastle fans really have become entitled. Reading their forum you'd think the sky is falling in. Blaming the club for no ambition. Having a go at Eddie howe. They've just qualified for the champions league for the second time in 3 years won a cup.
  26. Seems to have been the top scorer in the Conference League last season. Surely no way we could afford him and seems a very weak link.
