  1. Past hour
  2. You'll find there are a lot of fans who can't be bothered starting anything themselves but will join in if they see someone taking action. We had one amazing fan who went all the way to Hong Kong to gather information on our shadowy owner. He found out the registered building was empty and along with investigational journalists he untangled the myriad of shell companies that the owner was hiding behind. He took personal risks as there were links to triads and the underworld. He passed this information to the authorities and this was the start of the fall of this suspected money laundering operation. There were protests ranging from boycotts, arriving late, tennis balls into pitch, whistles, plane flying overhead saying BIHL OUT in a Sky game, Also Anti board banners and songs, Adverts in newspapers and on advertising hoardings close to the ground and training pitch. There was an incident where one of the board members was punched. There were marches and mass protests outside the ground. I think the adverts in the Chinese newspaper in Chinese was what worked as your image is very important in their culture. It wasn't easy but we finally got our club back. Blackburn is also a historic club with a large fanbase. You'll be pleasantly surprised with how much the fans of other clubs will support your fight. It's your club so fight for it.
  3. He made a terrible point for the reasons I outlined on the page before this. Official club communication from a publicly known figure is extremely different to releasing titbits through an anonymous account. The second comes across very shifty, partly as the club can deny anything from that account if it backfires.
  4. Aside from all the doom and gloom, and the inevitable sale of Trav to Derby, have there been any links with new signings? Any ITKs have a scoop? Departures too for that matter, we won't sign anyone new while Pears, Buckley etc are taking up Pasha's precious wage budget
  5. Nobody knew there, but the fans all did.
  6. It’s even got Bob Fleming out of posting retirement… times really are bad.
  7. How do you all expect people working at our club to know how good he was though?
  8. Scratch that, seems as though it was a "pre match kit" or something. What a joke. How many more ways will they think of to fleece the fans.
  9. I agree, we're only 2 games in, although it isn't me judging him, it's Derby fans. The partnership point still stands though .
  10. its up to the keeper to claim the ball, even if it means clearing everyone out, friedel was a master at it,you wer`nt getting in the way of our big american🙂
  11. Bleak times when you open the forum, see this thread and realise "Christ, less than a week to go till the next installment of misery".
  12. Maybe they'll be back in for pears
  13. .......Although if it was one of our new players it'd be far too early to judge them!
  14. I'd like to see the same starters as Brum game. I think it's the best line up we've got tbh
  15. We should just have one of our CBs push the GK into the back of the net every corner. Apparently that's legal now.
  16. inspired goalkeeping and defending 🤣
  17. If its the difference between promotion and not, or relegation and survival, then its a price worth paying. Too often here the focus is on the individual - their cost, transfer fee, wages, scope for increasing in value The focus really needs to be on the team and giving it the experience, depth and quality to actually go and achieve something in the game rather than just existing with no purpose whilst rivals all overtake us.
  18. Saying it from last season, a successful partnership is never down to one of the players.
  19. Real Madrid would be the dream move. 3 English players playing for real
  20. Linked with Real Madrid, Liverpool, City and United. https://archive.is/20250812161108/https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-14993807/Premier-League-transfers-Wharton-Donnarumma-Liverpool-Manchester-United-Tottenham-Aston-Villa-Everton.html
  21. August 2011, after Everton beat us 1-0, I had that feeling of relegation. Even so early in the season: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/14600659 It was crazy that we didn't get even a point from that match. Dominated it from start to finish, hit the woodwork 3 times, including 2 missed penalties. Then an outrageous penalty decision against Chris Samba gifted them all 3pts in the 92nd minute. We deserved so much more from the performance and it felt like a mugging. Resulted in being our 3rd league loss on the bounce to start the season, and the rest is history. I have the exact same feeling after the Birmingham game, and the similarities are terrifying.
  22. I'd persevere with De Neve for now, he does at least seem to know where the net is.
  23. Chelsea game was boring. Should have watched Forest game. Hoping for goals from Man Utd and Arsenal game
  24. he was`nt to blame on his own, coventry front line were quick and inventive, looked to me that the whole derby side is slow, that was their undoing
