  1. Past hour
  2. From memory we had about 12k ST holders that year and I think Wolves brought about 2k. So c6,000 walk ons, it won’t be dissimilar tomorrow, so the turn out is perfectly fine all things considered.
  3. If we were playing Swansea or Watford they would probably be less than half that attendance, tomorrow!
  4. I was surprised to see the attendance for our 125th anniversary was only 20,800. Not close to a sell out then and that's when we were competently run by people who care.
  5. Yes - here’s the new League Cup regulation:
  6. Fully aware of Boro form but they are 4th in the league and have a sticky patch just like we were having prior to the last 3 games. That is the championship for you. I think the Wolves job is a hard job, squad lacking quality to stay up. the gap is 8 points to Burnley and 9 to Leeds which is huge catch up for them.
  7. Someone on Twitter (I can't access the link now) has suggested that the 150th White kit won't be released until the New Year because someone at Rovers is unhappy with the sales of the 3 other kits. Would make sense, they've been trying to drum up interest in the kits recently with a discount on the kids sizes.
  8. We sold 9,000 season tickets, so it would be some doing to sell out a 31,000 ground for a second division TV game. They’ve sold a decent amount of walk ons compared to the rest of the games this season . Yet, as always if you’ve a pitiful number of ST holders as your base it’s very hard to come close to filling the ground.
  9. winning the world cup is the focus and Welbeck is bang in form whilst has Watkins, Toney, Delap aren't.
  10. Not been to a game in years and with this being 150th anniversary should be excited going but just can't be arsed. Neither are others that I know. Had a look at the seat map out of curiosity and there are so many seats left. Sad state of affairs that such a game can't even sell out. But who can blame the fans. Fucking Venkys. Obviously want a win but this just seems like one of those games where they will lose. Hopefully they actually turn up and put a performance in and win.
  11. If you racially abuse a player at Ewood you will get possibly a three year banning order. Similarly if you bit another person in the ground you would likely end up with a criminal conviction. Why, because it happens on the pitch is this any different?
  12. Is this the same in both cups now?
  13. Thanks Ian - the t-shirt arrived today and is quality.
  14. Milutin osmajic BANNED for 9 games. Boost for us when we play them after the break. He’s a horrible guy with a disgusting personality. He got what he deserved.
  15. He's the man in form but it is very short term in view of his age.
  16. Oh, I suggested that to Steve Waggott every time (4) I met him. In fairness, he smiles each time, which I’m certain is a better reaction than we’d get from Suhail or Gestede.
  17. Today
  18. They've won 3 of their last 10, one of which was against Sheffield Wednesday, and in those 10 games have scored 10 goals. Quite a lot of their fans say they've been lucky to get the points and results they have up to this point and the signs of a slide down the table have been there for a while. Edwards will know this and know that if he can jump ship to a PL club now whilst his stock his high before it goes wrong he's laughing. Leeds and Burnley are hovering just outside the drop zone after Forest and West Ham have had stinking starts and changed managers (Forest twice) who have also had to contend with European demands. That includes some fortuitous wins such as Burnley's last gasp grab at Wolves the other week. Both of them will be there or thereabouts come May.
  19. Prestons biting striker has been given a 9 game ban for racially abusing a dingle, Whilst both are reprehensible actions, I am not sure that physical assault should carry a shorter ban than verbal abuse Despicable human being, I hope he leaves these shores
  20. Any chance you could suggest that Venkys Piss off with immediate effect?
  21. As suggested by We Are The Rovers. The Club love using our ideas and turning them into their own.
  22. Three on the bounce, but with all the 1st teamers out, the squad will be hard-pressed to get a point. I believe it happens, 1-1.
  23. yes I have. Its takes time and patience to learn the new layout, the game set up and how everything works.
  24. Boro are 4th currently and hardly on the slide. I just wouldn't be jumping ship for that Wolves job. Last season, all 3 promoted clubs were at the bottom of the league but this season is a very different case, Sunderland doing very well, Leeds and Burnley doing better than previous promotion clubs. West Ham and Forest having shockers this season
  25. I wonder if they pulled the shirt because they realised they were going to get absolutely panned. If they had any desire to sell it even after Christmas they would have done some communication on it.
  26. I guess it comes from a time when: a) the FA Cup was seen as the premier competition and b) teams could bring in players up to the end of March and so, if they were having a good run, they could bring in new players (short-term loans?) just for the cup. With all the rules around squad registration and tighter transfer windows, plus the massively increased use of loans, it was probably time for that rule to be reviewed and, thankfully, they have.
