  1. Past hour
  2. Did i say that but Eustace doesn't like signing or many non domestic players? That's our model. Look in the French, Belgium, Scandinavia markets for players Also you are quick to defend but he had no problem in joining Rovers in the first place did he? As @wilsdenroverpoints out above
  3. And this is for Nic21 But there's always matchday to enjoy after a hard week's work 😉 And I'll be there..
  4. It was no criticism of the bloke involved; I was showing what the ‘leadership’ was up to. I guess he also had his photo taken with Kargbo pre-match.
  5. Regarding rage and anger, impotent though it may be, seems a perfectly legitimate response to me given the circumstances. And ire on a messageboard may not necessarily change things (but I’m sure there are plenty listening.) Of course, it’s not the fault of the new lads. Cobbled together quickly in a cut price set up. And of course, they will need time to play together etc. What I fear is that that such reasonable assertions (time to gel, time to get up to speed, have to settle for an ok season given the large churn, only a minority of fans complaining) are perfect excuses to legitimise at least the next 2 seasons (if not longer) of mid-table or lower mediocrity. The real tragedy is that we were close a couple of times recently under two managers to getting it right and possible promotion (and with any luck rid of the owners) only to be scuppered. That is where anger should reside: at person or persons who didn’t even try to go the Rao’s to ask for a cash injection (not megabucks) to facilitate possible promotions that were close. The tragedy is now greater because, that chance having gone, Pasha has cemented his authority and the new cut price regime, in my mind will not deliver promotion and thus prolong the tenure of the Raos. Unless, unless, we are relegated and the picture changes.
  6. A model he’d have been aware of when he joined.
  7. Its very sad why you keep coming back this a child Downplaying it as per usual. His recruitment has seen him sign several former Rovers players, wrong? Does he want Pears now ? 🤔 You defended Derby Rovers over the lack of fitness of their players but slammed your own team you support. What a huge and unsurprisingly contradiction Not something I've said. Ignoring everything I've said about the last 3 performances. Last season results doesn't matter.
  8. Ah right so everything is fine at Rovers' end, it's just the 'model' that Eustace didn't like?
  9. …and so do I. There are some really good and decent people involved. I am sure we will get some information soon.
  10. In defence of the photo, there is a bit of a running gag on X that whoever that lad has his photo with gets cursed as something tends to happen to them, so think he's done it as a joke. In no way do I think its a thumbs up to the regime.
  11. Its unlikely i agree, but centre mid has gone from one our strongest positions to our weakest in 1 transfer. Without signing one, we're in real trouble. Taveres is the next Corry Evans. 5 yard sideways passes and no tackles. Did he make a single one yesterday?
  12. Don't know Mike but wish them all the best.
  13. Gaurentee that won't happen. 1 in 9 signings this summer with any kind of experience at this level.
  14. Sorry to go off topic but I've still got the accept/reject cookie pop up that cannot be closed down on my phone. Probably got a viewing area of 2 inches max, it's almost unusable.
  15. Like I said at the time, more of manager role, greater say in signings and recruitment department
  16. Relegation beckons without the addition of a midfield signing of decent quality and preferably with Championship level experience.
  17. Regarding the Gudjohanden goals. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.
  18. Anyone worked out his playing 'style' yet?
  19. One that can progress the ball forward 100% is a must
  20. There's no hope for the Scottish Prem if nobody can beat the old firm to the title this year, one of the worst old firm games in history just finished 0-0
  21. I’ll take your word on that as generally I ignore manager interviews, I made an exception for JDT as his charisma and intelligence shone through.
  22. Fucking sickening, rather have my photo taken with Satan.☠️
  23. I liked JDT but Val speaks more open and direct....JDT liked his riddles a little but not as bad as Eustaces 'togetherness'.
  24. Well I hope so, given the cards he's been dealt. Avoiding relegation should be the baseline, any thing else is probably a bonus. As somebody rightly pointed out, wage budget usually correlate strongly with league position so that should put us in 18-20th place. Add to that the dysfunctional club management with power struggles, lacking contract extensions, owners who don't care. I don't see how many manager can be expected to perform a miracle here? Ismael was clear before the summer that he wanted to keep the core and add to it. It didn't pan out that way with Dolan, Brittain and Travis. The gradual transition has now been a full blown revamp of the squad. I'm an optimist but also a realist based on facts and data. There is no doubt that there is a high risk of this going badly. Statistically not a all transfer work out, even when you are spending a lot more than us. (ref Man United). Our wild card approach will be even riskier as for most of the players, the Championship is a step up. It's very likely that result wise it will get worse before it gets better. Just hope that the club sticks with Ismael for some time to see through the rebuild.
  25. 100% agree on the bit in bold. He just isn't the type of manager to galvanise a group of new players, neither is JDT...Something Eustace succeeds over both. It's why I think we won't see the best of some of the new lads.
  26. Neither Sheff Utd nor Ipswich will finish below us. Probably Sheff Wed unless new owners before January. Otherwise Charlton, Hull and Oxford are the only teams that are potentially worse. PNE and QPR unlikely.
