  1. Past hour
  2. Something like that could be good if fans chipped in, but I don't know how much it costs. The club probably snoop on here so if they knew it was being planned they would probably spend what little money we have on hiring it out so that fans couldn't do that.
  3. What’s strange about it?
  4. Strange to see Man United and Arsenal fixture on the opening day. I guess that sums up the lack of league titles for both of them recently and only one is likely to be anywhere near league title contention.
  5. A bitter insider posting transfer updates and painting players leaving as bad professionals whilst journalists are banned from asking certain questions is NOT good communication. You would either have to be unwilling to criticise the club, a bit stupid or have a vested interest at the club to suggest otherwise.
  6. It looks even more ridiculous when put like that, but that is what it looks like. The thing I don't get is...how does such a decision tally up with an individual like Balaji Rao? He is a guy who tries to throw the biggest and best parties in India almost every year or fairly often. He's often blinged up, suited and booted, loves motors etc. Obviously wealthy. A bit flash? Maybe. What is a Sky Sports subscription to him? If anything, you'd think such people would be embarrassed to have to make such a decision at one of their companies. People talk about face. This kind of small time stuff (for the wealthy) could result in a bit of embarrassment, could it not? There have been other cost cutting decisions where I've thought that doesn't tally up with Balaji. That doesn't tally up with the actions you'd expect of billionaire owners. Before any snooping bots try and respond with "1995"... having billionaire owners doesn't mean we expect £20m spent on a striker, our players to be on £50k a week and the plan to be to topple Liverpool and Man City in a few years time. However, there are some things which don't make sense and don't add up, IMO. I just get the feeling if any of us were to speak with Balaji (never happening, I know), he would be embarrassed about some of the things that have happened.
  7. European right winger we've watched recently
  8. Oli McBurnie bagged them a last minute winner today. Maybe we should have made inquiries about him. They've now already picked up 4 points which isn't bad considering many expect them to struggle with this embargo, etc.
  9. No one who leaves is a snake, it’s extremely weird and it’s making us look like absolute fools, don’t blame anyone for wanting to leave
  10. 4 wins, 3 draws and 8 losses so far for Ismael.
  11. Have to ask dodgy Pasha for a dodgy stick.
  12. You are very keen to point out how bad other teams strikers are to try and justify us scrambling around for cheap players. Kyogo will score more goals than and is far better than our strikers. Our 2 strikers are average and poor, not many goals there.
  13. You'll find there are a lot of fans who can't be bothered starting anything themselves but will join in if they see someone taking action. We had one amazing fan who went all the way to Hong Kong to gather information on our shadowy owner. He found out the registered building was empty and along with investigational journalists he untangled the myriad of shell companies that the owner was hiding behind. He took personal risks as there were links to triads and the underworld. He passed this information to the authorities and this was the start of the fall of this suspected money laundering operation. There were protests ranging from boycotts, arriving late, tennis balls into pitch, whistles, plane flying overhead saying BIHL OUT in a Sky game, Also Anti board banners and songs, Adverts in newspapers and on advertising hoardings close to the ground and training pitch. There was an incident where one of the board members was punched. There were marches and mass protests outside the ground. I think the adverts in the Chinese newspaper in Chinese was what worked as your image is very important in their culture. It wasn't easy but we finally got our club back. Blackburn is also a historic club with a large fanbase. You'll be pleasantly surprised with how much the fans of other clubs will support your fight. It's your club so fight for it.
  14. He made a terrible point for the reasons I outlined on the page before this. Official club communication from a publicly known figure is extremely different to releasing titbits through an anonymous account. The second comes across very shifty, partly as the club can deny anything from that account if it backfires.
  15. Aside from all the doom and gloom, and the inevitable sale of Trav to Derby, have there been any links with new signings? Any ITKs have a scoop? Departures too for that matter, we won't sign anyone new while Pears, Buckley etc are taking up Pasha's precious wage budget
  16. Nobody knew there, but the fans all did.
  17. It’s even got Bob Fleming out of posting retirement… times really are bad.
  18. Today
  19. How do you all expect people working at our club to know how good he was though?
  20. Scratch that, seems as though it was a "pre match kit" or something. What a joke. How many more ways will they think of to fleece the fans.
  21. I agree, we're only 2 games in, although it isn't me judging him, it's Derby fans. The partnership point still stands though .
  22. its up to the keeper to claim the ball, even if it means clearing everyone out, friedel was a master at it,you wer`nt getting in the way of our big american🙂
  23. Bleak times when you open the forum, see this thread and realise "Christ, less than a week to go till the next installment of misery".
