  1. Past hour
  2. I've been watching the two Ronnies. A good tonic 👌
  3. Interesting comments regarding Cashin and his league debut with us....... https://www.northstandchat.com/threads/eiran-cashin-06-01-26-loaned-to-blackburn.402924/page-50
  4. I wouldnt be rushing to put Ohashi in the side, think he's been dreadful recently.
  5. Things are so depressing that my only refuge is gallows humour. I'm so depressed, this sprang to my mind but please cheer me up and contribute your wit in a few posts before I jump off a very tall building. There comes a point when you stop checking the league table because you already know that you're somewhere between “mathematically doomed” and “practically relegated.” Other clubs are out there signing strikers with two working legs and a pulse whilst we’re proudly unveiling "potential" from some unheard of Z league whose last goal came during the Bronze Age. VI assures us there’s no need to panic, which is exactly what people say when there is every need to panic. Our current squad couldn’t finish a sandwich, never mind a chance, and the only thing our midfield creates is anxiety. Somehow I still manage to tell people I'm a Rovers supporter but these days more in the same way one might love a three legged dog that keeps running into traffic. What you got?
  6. Ours were supposed to arrive by email - They never did, not in junk folder either. They did say they'd had a problem with the 3rd party company sending the emails out, but we have them now.
  7. It might be famous last words for me but I personally think Cashin just had a crap game. I like to think we'll see a better version of him soon. He was good at Derby and Brighton aren't mugs for buying poor players. He'll be disappointed, no doubt about it, so I hope that we'll see a good player soon.
  8. Whilst we've only one 1 of the last 12, we've drawn 7 of them, including away draws at Wrexham, Boro, Sheff Wed (I know) and Hull. Wouldn't be surprised to see us pick something up, but equally, you couldn't have picked two worse away games to be within 72 hours of each other in terms of travel. Swansea had a dreadful November, but recovered well in December to win 5 of their 8 games up to 4th Jan. Going to go with..... 1-1, possibly erring on the side of a Rovers win, just because I think we're due one.
  9. Ahh right, when I ordered them, they arrived via e-mail, I couldn't see a postal option tbh.
  10. Difficult to see anything other than a loss. Think there will be a couple of surprise selections including the absence of Captain Todd. Saturday continued to show we've brought in some real shite including Baradji. Think Cashin has to play in order to avoid financial penalties - IMO, continue with him and he'll take us down
  11. Just a heads up @K-Hod - Our vouchers never arrived, I had to call them to have them sent again.
  12. Today
  13. Elvis Presley - Milk Cow Blues Boogie
  14. Something online said we should be looking at him, as he’s available within our price range.
  15. I've always been of the opinion this season since it became clear we were going to sell off all our decent Championship experience that it will be 50/50 on relegation but we would eventually limp to safety when we get Toth back in goal, Alebiosu, Morishita & Gudjohnsen back in the side, and I think I still do but those results over the weekend were a killer. It's getting far too close for comfort. Although I believe that 2 spots are now taken and it's 4 maybe even a 5 way shootout for the last one. The next two weeks or so are huge, against a poor Swansea side away, 3 home games in a row including Sheffield Wednesday, and then Norwich away. Think after these 4 games we will more or less know, if we're still out of the bottom 3 by a few points my original prediction of limping to safety will happen I think. But as has been said further up, the main concern for me is if/when we fall into that bottom 3 do we have enough characters at the club to claw and scrap to get us out of it? I'm not sure we do.
  16. John Lee Hooker - It Serves Me Right To Suffer Should be Rovers running out song these days.
  17. I imagine it will now go very quiet until mid next week at the earliest. Based on Ismael's comments, I'm expecting a cheap loan striker and the offloading of a couple of the current squad...oh and Hedges probably not being registered for the rest of the season while we suffer along with De Neve at LWB.
  18. Heard anything more on this @Mercer?? Or turned out to be merely rumours?
  19. Much rather gamble on someone like this than go for a championship crock like Frey Also suits the buy cheap, sell for a profit agenda at the club
  20. ISH - I reported a polish FB group linking us in summer. Reared it's head again due to the chairman pushing him out the door and LT mentioning it as a fan suggestion
  21. I don't think there's any credibility in these tbh shit post from me tbh lol
  22. Agree matey. Conversation always reverts back to one thing.
  23. I suppose I will watch this on TV, but with no enthusiasm or excitement. I just hope I end up watching more than the 12 minutes I managed of the Ipswich game. No chance of a result for us, but hoping for a consolation goal from our new striker. 3-1
  24. Possibly...but it might be because nobody has ever heard of second/third rate players in the Z League of Greenland!
