Fair enough, maybe my ratings were a bit too high but I also considered the following factors: - We nearly got a result. The goal from Cantwell came pretty much out of nowhere but we dealt well with their attacking threat up until the 90th minute. - I felt many of the players put in max performances in relation to their limited abilities, hence the (perhaps) somewhat inflated ratings. - Defence was better organised today than against WBA, mainly because we sat back and played less risky passes. - There were individual errors in the game (De Neve, Tavares) but didn't think any of the players starting the game underperformed. - Hedges was way more effective hugging the touchline on the left compared to his non-existing performance against WBA. - Kargbo also benefitted from playing on the right as opposed to cutting inside from the left flank. At least there seems to be a gameplay that could work when we face 'better' sides in the league. Upcoming game against Hull and similar opponents that are expected to be in the bottom half will be completely different, though. -

Appreciate that but the way your post was phrased implied that Rovers have been stock piling players....and they definitely haven't been. π -

Still no progress on a signing according to Ismael. Lots of excuses for the first 2 losses, well 3 but Ismael refusing to count the cup one. Im sure he would count it had we beat the mighty Bradford. -

No no no you haven't read the script. Joe Rothwell left because his wife wanted to live on the South Coast (since gone to Leeds and Rangers) JDT left to take the Sweden job (which he took ages after leaving here) Lenihan left even though we offered him a huge deal to stay (yeah right) Eustace left for family reasons and to save 30 minutes on his commute Brittain left despite us "imminently" agreeing terms on a new deal with him Travis is going to leave for 'life changing' money at Derby County None of the above anything at all to do with the approach of Rovers. -
Nice Sky carve up there between two competitions they showβ¦

The one with Forest was because of the Cricket at Trent Bridge on Saturday, Chelsea being the originally selected sky game.

Morton. That's sticks in the throat. I saw nothing other than a sideways and backwards passing new gen footballer, offered nothing.

Sounds like an upgraded version of Hedges -
Why were there two 2pm games yesterday? As far as I could see there were no European games involving those four teams the preceding midweek?
-
Any news on Tavares?
-
To be fair that was announced ages ago that they would be showing all Sunday 2pm games from this season onwards, these aren't extra games being moved for TV they are showing the ones moved to Sunday's anyway due to clubs playing in Europe the prior Thursday. Also last season when the new Championship TV deal came into place there was plenty of Fridays and Mondays that had live Prem and Championship football on at the same time.

Might well be a "good man". Not that you would have any idea either way from a few posts on a message board. He is 100% on X though and I do find his take of all players leaving being "rats and snakes" and everything this regime do is wonderful very strange though. Also disagreeing with everything the Coalition is trying to do. So again, I do wonder who this chap really is. -
Yesterday and for the next few weeks Sky are simultaneously showing two Premier League matches at 2 pm on Sunday afternoons. I haven't looked further afield but I did wonder when, all summer they have boasted about covering more games when they would be shown. Similarly on Friday evening they are showing a Premier League and Championship game at the same time. It appears that boast was misleading unless some have the capability to watch two games at once.

How do we know Unleaded is a βgood manβ? Because heβs given ITK tidbits and livened up dull threads as a result? Who knows who he is, could be an agent, could be anybody, keep an open mind with any βITKβ. -

"Different people have left for different reasons." Aye, absolutely no pattern in us not offering deals with any proactivity and when we finally get round to it, not at the going rate for a Championship player. -

Travis will be gone this week more than likely i presume they are just bartering about the add ons. Hyam i think is almost guaranteed to just see the season out and walk for free in summer he'll have plenty options if he stays fit, can't see anyone offering a worthwhile fee for him now. -

This is a huge week for the club, we need to get at least 2 attacking players in before Hull otherwise the rot will set in. You cant skimp on the attacking players either, skidmarks from the Romanian 2nd division won't do. Stanisfield and Dyke made the difference on Saturday, and Gelhardt and McBurnie wil do the same next week. All players we have actually heard of with Championship experience and it shows on the pitch. -

2 weeks today the transfer window will be closed. If we do not sign 3 players of championship quality, to go straight into the starting eleven we will be as good as down by the next window in January. Can I see it? no the judgment of the people in the scouting system is flawed , that is if we have one and not just random guys looking at videos from home. I expect Travis and Hyam to leave within the next fortnight. So that probably means 5 signings. Desperate times, we need administration at least then the Venkys will have to go ππππ -

For me - 6 is an average OK performance. 5 is poor. 4 is really poor. 3, you must be the second coming of Christian β bloody β Dailly. On the other hand - 7 is good. 8 is really good, 9 is brilliant and 10 is Bryan Douglas level. Dougie got 10 from the national newspapers quite often.
