  1. Past hour
  2. Not always. A seems to depend on whereabouts on the pitch you are. If it’s in your own half sometimes all you get is free kick. Sometimes nothing.
  3. And best wishes to you, I hope you come through stronger and cancer free.🏆
  4. My favourite goals of his was against United on 2nd of April 1994 at Ewood
  5. Hulk Hogan is dead and I'm in no way sad about it. An absolute dog shit of a person. In saying that he literally made wrestling what it became. Without him there would be no Attitude Era. Edit to add: I can't believe he was only 71. I genuinely thought he was at least 30 years older than he was. I remember seeing him in the early 90s and he looked at least 50. Steroids. Don't do them.
  6. My favourite Shearer goal was the winner in injury time against Leeds in 1994 that nearly started a riot in the Darwen End with their fans. They deserved the pain of that one after they had sang through the Busby minutes silence. Not the most important (although it was at the time) but so satisfying.
  7. https://saintsmarching.com/saints-striker-dismissed-winter-move-but-must-seal-same-opportunity-now were we sniffing about getting Diaz on loan in January? Bali Mumba: Shirt changed from 2 to 1 1. Although this does not explicitly confirm Mumba’s transfer future, it all but confirms that the 23-year-old full-back will remain at Argyle for the upcoming season Apparently he is high up the list on replacements if Brittain goes.
  8. It also requires that law to be enforced. The people who run this place are reasonably dense and unbelievably petty. It is not beyond the realms of possibility that they would breach these rules as they have so many others in the past. I for one hope they do breach these terms and get made an example of and get their right to operate revoked.
  9. Quite simply Rovers under 21's were poor yesterday and I would struggle to name any player who stood out and should be training with the first team on that showing. We hit the post in the first half and missed an easy second half chance but those aside we were second best all over the pitch. Clearly those comments are tempered by the fact it was a friendly and the coaches will be relatively pleased that it was a good work out. Perhaps to emphasise that they brought on O'Grady-Macken at half time and played him at centre half when Max Davies was still on the bench. Davies did come on later and HOM went into his usual midfield position. Also we played three at the back in the first half and reverted to a back four in the second. The only player who didn't get any game time was Adam Khan.
  10. Wade can be deceptive. Last night was Clayton’s highest average in a game at this tournament, but it did feel like he wasn’t playing as well as he had done previous. Historically Wade has always been one of the biggest 140 hitters on tour and one of the best double hitters. He is averaging a ton across the whole tournament. He’s back up to 5th in the world having dropped out of the top 20 a few years back. In this competition, in the four games he has played he has hit more 140s than his opponent in every one. His checkout percentages have been 56%, 42%, 65%, 67%. That’s ridiculously high and as you say is how he nicks the legs. For comparison, Littler has been 35%, 43%, 32%, 53%. Wade just doesn’t hit a barrage of 180s. However if Littler turn up on his A or even B game he’ll still cruise this.
  11. Spurs activate Morgan Gibbs White release clause hence what happens
  12. What is everybody favourite Rovers goal?.
  13. I saw that earlier, it's an opinion piece rather than a transfer link.
  14. Today
  15. Back in 1992 on the 27th July he joined Rovers. What a signing and true Rovers legend. Best striker I've ever
  16. We are both passionate Rovers fans at the end of the day. Yes we discuss the issues but I have nothing but respected @roversfan99 and his opinions whilst respectfully disagreeing with him. If you think ive become more hostile then I apologise if it comes across that way.
  17. I don't think that will happen. As stated above, the new law places a statutory obligation on clubs to hold regular meetings with a representative group of supporters. Any club which was in breach of that obligation could potentially have their licence to operate withdrawn by the Independent Regulator.
  18. Looks like I was wrong, these things happen. Hindsight sees in 20/20.
  19. If he did have a bad knee injury which kept him out of the second half of last season whilst he was out on loan, then nursing him back may make some sense. Although it could just as easily be that he isn't as good as those who brought him in, thought he was I've still not seen any mention this pre season of Higgins, Leeming, Mansbridge, or Joseph. So wonder if they are injured or have maybe just been with the U18s? But they are all players who I would have thought would be with the U21s, at least in pre season
  20. Just seen that Morgan Gibbs-White signed new 3 year contract at Forest. Whatever his reasons it's a real slap in the face for Spuds.
  21. Newcastle are bang up against their Fair Play ceiling but haven't learned City accounting yet...
  22. So, are we signing anyone else or nah?
  23. Interesting that Mafoumbi (who also had his name spelled wrong) only makes the bench in a u21 side weakened by having quite a few players off with the first team.
  24. If he even does get replaced.
  25. Yesterday
  26. I find James Wade quite an odd player. He's generally a one treble per visit merchant which shouldn't really be good enough to trouble the very top players these days but somehow he always seems to drag his opponent down to his level and often manages to pull off a decent finish to nick a leg he's been behind in. If Littler is on his best form tomorrow it'll be a slaughter but I wouldn't be surprised if Wade makes it scrappy and the match ends up reasonably close.
