  1. Past hour
  2. So no concern about the pattern of us constantly being unable to get current senior players to sign new deals?
  3. I didn't mind it at the time as I thought he'd kick on, but yeah those spots are at a premium now and he seems to be a dud unfortunately.
  4. There is zero point in releasing the minutes at all if they are mostly fiction. As noted previously, it will completely destroy any faith in future minutes being taken seriously and casts suspicion on previously released information too. If the club are not willing to allow a truthful transcription of the meeting to be released then no version should be released, and a statement from the FF should be put out instead confirming the reasons behind this decision. Further meetings with club officials will be pointless if any contentious elements will just be redacted from the minutes or, as is seemingly being alleged, amended to be a fabrication of what actually transpired.
  5. I don't so much mind anyone not signing, that's their prerogative. Obviously, the key is a, getting money for them. b, replacing them with a good/better. With receiving good money for Britain and signing new players on longer contracts, maybe, just maybe the new broom is getting busy.
  6. I think people need to be very careful calling people firstly Who says it the Chair of fans forum fault at all? Far too many people quick to play the blame game again
  7. Worrying about resale value on signings... People seem to forget we are Blackburn "run your contract down and leave for nothing" Rovers. How was the resale on Dolan, Brereton-Diaz, Lenihan, Rothwell, Nyambe, and Dack (though we can forgive that one to a degree). That's £25m - £30m worth of assets that walked for nothing in the last 3 years. Travis, Hyam, Tronstad (£7m?) - even Hedges (£500k?) - are at best going to be sold for under value (like Brittain) due to contract malpractice, or will join the list of £0 departures. Let's just say I don't share the same concern if they spend £1m on a 28-year-old. Rovers players walk for free 80% of the time regardless!
  8. Thank you, I thought so 😁
  9. Okay, I thought we would line up with him maybe in a 4-2-3-1, maybe midfield diamond.
  10. I agree. We havent learnt any lessons. Not while none of the contract situations are taken.
  11. Hes a central midfielder who I think played right of a midfield 3.
  12. The Mafoumbi signing has always been an odd one. Using up a valuable slot.
  13. Not really. All of our signings have come from the continent where wages are lower. Brittain / Travis / Tronstad are established Championship players and want comparable wages to their peers. I think we'll really struggle after this season to recruit - we'll find this continental scouting harder and harder as our permit places dry up (due to fewer and fewer English players logging minutes for us). That hard £10k wage cap clearly isn't a myth.
  14. isn’t Axel meant to be a right sided midfielder meaning we could line up like this trav - tronny axel - Cantwell - de neve Ohashi
  15. We seem determined to sign Baradji , VI must be a big admirer
  16. In my mind as well, and I’m not Hedges biggest fan.
  17. Its just maybe slightly strange that there are long spells at this club where its not just the odd player that wont sign one, its all of our key players.
  18. Exaucé Mafoumbi & Moussa Baradji have the same agent .. am sure the powers will strike a deal with him to move the former for the latter on ….Hes like Buckley though hard to shift as not many takers for the lad ……Talks ongoing …
  19. Not until they start actually agreeing new contracts with existing key players.
  20. How did the chair get this role? edited to add… If he doesn’t want to reject the minutes again he should stand down and allow someone else to do so.
  21. The solution can’t possibly be release minutes which don’t reflect what actually happened, surely? Am I reading this correctly?
  22. Tickets and train both booked today. Vine pre match is a bit of a ritual so I’m sure that’ll be where I head to.
  23. I need to reiterate this is not @only2garners fault. He's done nothing wrong he sent the amended minutes to the club. They've severely butchered them and now it appears the options we are being offered by the chair is. 1. Accept the clubs amendments 2. Mark bits we dont agree with and these can be removed from the minutes as areas of neither party agrees (he does not want to go back to club rejecting the updated minutes despite members attendees rejecting them). I've left it with them and will be taking part in a podcast to discuss Rovers over the summer and im sure these minutes and that meeting will heavily debated. As an elected Chair of two of the largest supporter groups, I'd be doing the members no justice by agreeing to go along with the shenanigans this has created In over 20 years of supporter representation I've never once been asked to take part in censorship or report untruths, I'm not going to start now. My understanding talking to all the groups who have members, they are of the same opinion. What a mess
