  2. Surely you backed their decision to keep ETH, as he won them a cup? Just like you said Spurs should keep Ange after his?
  3. I don’t know how much times have changed but years ago (about 8, I think) a mate of mine used to work for a company and one of his colleagues was part of the York City Ladies coaching team. They organised a friendly, of the YCFC ladies vs the blokes in the office (and a couple of mates) where the office boys annihilated them about 12-0. These were just random, regular blokes who've played only at pub level teams. I don't know if they are still at the same level but if so, it's no surprise the BRFCS ladies are taking repeated thrashings.
  4. If you aren’t happy that’s his email, got a reply off club via emailing him on that suhail.pasha@hotmail.com
  5. This is a huge game, along with the Stoke home game next weekend, because after the international break we have an immensely tough run of fixtures....and the thing is, both Swansea and Stoke have started the season very well too, so are by no means 'easy' matches. I'd be tempted to really shake things up system wise but I doubt it will happen as there would only be one day of training to work on it. I'm predicting this starting 11 from Ismael: Toth Alebiosu (if fit) Miller McLoughlin Ribeirio TGH Tronstad Morishita Cantwell Hedges Gudjohnsen If Alebiosu is not fit, then I guess he'll do what he did 2nd half against Charlton and put Tavares in the middle with TGH at RB.....because that went well. Rovers 1 - 2 Swansea. Gudjohnsen to score.
  6. Has to be this (unless Alebiosu is back fit) Must win game, just 6 game in and here we are. No hard luck stories, no moaning about a ref, no awful weather conditions, just 3 fucking points.
  7. I think you're right - and I'm sure that Jackson mentioned it in one of his podcasts as well, around that time. Seem to remember him namechecking the Radio Lancs guy, as having made a similar request.
  8. Absolutely embarrassing, we are a complete laughing stock.
  9. Apparently they're going to wait until November because the amount of compo goes significantly down. One imagines Amorim knows he's a dead man walking at this point.
  10. I have gone back and read the comment - still don't get it how the two things are remotely related. Yeah if the game had been seen out against Ipswich and Rovers had won - brilliant result....doesn't change any of the crap going on behind the scenes though, does it...?
  11. We had a very decent development club in the second tier. Now we are losing by 13 to that lot. Those that have their ear should tell them to fuck off, no one wants them, no one likes them, no one respects them. They have no idea of the shame they have brought upon us.
  12. It's my Birthday tomorrow, I'm hoping for a belated present from Rovers Tuesday, 3pts.
  13. Miller's long throw ins give us a bit of an edge.
  14. Probably get more supporters at Ewood, with the LT write ups on the matches.
  15. The best news I’ve had all day. Get in there Sir Gareth.
  16. Today
  17. The last 3 managers all had recent seasons were they managed to put us in a really strong position overachieving based on resources. But none were successful because it was just too difficult working under these owners.
  18. Seeing a lot say Gudjohnsen but whilst Yuki didn't do much yesterday he somehow did considerably less. Even Gueye was more impactful. Admittedly I didn't see the last two games but absolutely nothing I saw of him made me think "yeah, he should be starting".
  19. shouldn`t be criticising ismael, there is`nt any manager in existance who could make this club succesful with the current ownership/ceo,they clearly want it to fail
  20. The people who decided to self relegate, now need to be asked why. The problem is, who will ask, as they run the risk of a ban.
  21. Be under no illusion. It is never acceptable to lose 13-0 to those lot at any level and the blame lies with the owners and their "representative"
  22. Assuming Abeliosu is injured. So would go: Toth Miller. Mcloughlin wharton. Ribiero TGH. Tronstad Morishita. Cantwell. Kargbo Gudjohnsen
  23. The FourTops - It’s The Same Old Song
  24. I think its indicative of how poor our recruitment was in that position that anyone is thinking this. Our performances were notably poorer when he was starting games. Maybe has a role coming on as a sub to help see a game out, if he is starting games now then something has gone horribly wrong. He was a steady eddie years and years ago at this level. He isnt now.
  25. I don't think he was as bad as some made out when he did play. Granted he's no world beater, but he's a steady Eddie with proven championship experience. Believe he may get a run out for the u21s tomorrow
