  1. Past hour
  2. Morris wasn't signed late was he. Yet you claimed he was. You can just admit it
  3. Moyes did a great job there yet he wasn't good enough. They need new signings whether Potter stays or not. It's that simple. They started well but collapsed after Chelsea scored their second. Had West Ham scored that second goal It might have been a different result
  4. We're selling established Championship players and replacing them with cheap punts from obscure European Leagues. If they're not good enough, their height is irrelevant whether they're five feet four or six feet four.
  5. rudy, the most shameless man walking on the earth.. didn’t look a tad embarrassed after being told we were below league two level for the media.
  6. More likely to see a flying pig. The chances of Hull being more disorganised, less drilled, lower in confidence, more unfamiliar with each other, less resilient, less driven by a sense of pride in their club, having less strength in depth, using more players to fill in the clear gaps in the side, putting less into the game - are practically zero. We deserve some luck. I'd say we'll be lucky to come away with anything less than an absolute tubbing. For the thousand or so that are making their way duttifully down the M62, I salute your bloody-minded optimism and wish you a safe and happy trip. But you do realise you are completely mad, don't you? Head - A mauling from the Tigers - Hull 4 Rovers 0 Heart - Heavy and Heartbroken - Tigers 2 Rovers 0 Hells teeth Myrtle, I'm Hallucinating! Hull breached 0 Rovers Rampant 5 - pass the Bolivian Marching Powder! COYB! VENKYS OUT OF THEIR TINY INBRED MINDS - OUT I SAY!
  7. this guy on loan won’t sign permanently
  8. I dont have an opinion of him really as a person. But he isnt a good manager. I dont get why it has to be a new manager OR new players. They played tonight like a team that wasnt playing for their manager and one that didnt know what they were supposed to be doing. Totally disorganised, playing passes in areas where they clearly werent comfortable yet had been instructed to do so. They signed a keeper Potter wanted who was awful. They need more players but they also need a good manager. Potter's record is shocking.
  9. That's not something to shout about, to be fair. And I agree with the points already made on this - it's a different world now. Whilst we all care dearly about the football club, we all have careers and/or much to lose at the risk of arrest / etc. A different approach is needed - and in traction - in the modern day.
  10. A player from a relegated team in a league way below SPL in the coefficient, can’t say I’m excited.
  11. so you pay less for 6ft plus players you believe???
  12. The lass did though, credit to her for that. Sams a football man he seemed more like he felt sorry for Gestede.
  13. The Kinks - You’ve Really Got Me
  14. I've howled about my suspicions on this blokes involvement for years he is the undeniable constant besides them themselves and hes now helped wreck a side that was knocking on the door of the play offs. He's also managed to go through a manager, 2 head coaches, multiple backroom staff, a DoF and now a CEO in a matter of a few years but they were all the problem, not him. I'm so glad it's all finally coming to light he's the real power broker and BRFC and alongside the actual ownership he is the real problem.
  15. I was gutted big Sam didnt lay into Gestede hard enough
  16. Genuinely Chaddy since I can remember their only aim has to be 'play the West ham way'. Which is why they have done the square root of f all as a club until they appointed someone who didn't.
  17. 1000+ going over to Hull another great effort all things considered so lets hope they see a performance.
  18. Match report from Brighton's website - Rovers 0 BHA 4 https://www.brightonandhovealbion.com/media-article/mu21-match-report-blackburn-rovers-bha-pl2-august-2025 Am puzzled a bit by the formation. Wood and Stritch, as far as I know, are forwards/attacking midfielders. So it looks like Dunn is the only real all-round central midfielder in the team.
  19. For me Baradji is the type of signing that would be fine if he was adding depth to bulk out a strong squad. Unfortunately instead we have let all of our experience go and expect players like this to come in and replace them. Looks good in the highlight reel, but ultimately is another so-so player from a team relegated from a mid-strength at best league. In addition the injury issue could mean it's a complete waste of a signing anyway. These are always going to be gambles and are targets purely because they're cheap - some will work, some won't. A lot of our fans are lapping this strategy up as some stroke of genius but for me this is arguably the worst squad we've had under Venky's.
  20. Fans didn't like Moyes much but he won a trophy there yet they still want him gone. West Ham need signings not changing head coaches. They need better quality players. They haven't spent this summer. Only 5 signings and about 8 or 9 out. West Ham started well but havent that second goal they collapsed You never been a Potter fan.
  21. Today
  22. Please dont try and dress this up as some sort of footballing strategy, it's all being done on the basis of reducing cost.
  23. To be honest, I haven't read it and I don't really care,I'm not on Twitter, Facebook or any other shite. I said the other day, I don't really believe any of it from either side of the argument. Some of the stuff is quite literally unbelievable, yet people believe it because it suits their narrative. Whether there is unrest or not generally shows on the pitch.
  24. Venky’s were “badly advised” to buy the club by Suhail Pasha. Venky’s were “badly advised” to go into partnership with a certain agency, by Suhail Pasha. The agency recommended by Suhail Pasha then “badly advised” Venky’s to sack competent people, employ incompetent ones, and decimate our squad. They eventually took said agency to court, but allowed former employees of that agency to install Owen Coyle, Paul Lambert, and Tony Mowbray. Without said agency advising, they decided that Suhail Pasha could come back and do the advising instead! His most recent advice to them has been to tell them that all the crowd unrest was due to Steve Waggott, it was Waggott the fans didn’t like, not them. And all the fans were really pleased that he’d employed a club legend like Rudy Gestede - who could run the footballing side of things way better than Broughton or Waggott. His latest advice, which will no doubt turn out to be bad, is that they can cut costs to the extent that Venky’s won’t ever need to put another penny in to Rovers sooner rather than later. There is one man more culpable than any other for the state we find ourselves in today. More so than Steve Kean or Jerome Anderson. And he is still here being allowed to make catastrophic decisions. Removing this absolute scourge has to be the priority.
  25. I think on the topic of tall athletic players, it has something to do with the energy and press but also to win the ball more across the pitch and defend set pieces. Maybe even be a threat ourselves. I like Baradji as a signing. Injury is a concern but the deal makes sense. I wouldnt turn on Travis, he's been a great servant and someone I've enjoyed watching and its hard to see him go but sometimes you need to try something different to realise the path to move forward. Baradji and Tavares both seem more mobile and athletic to not only put the tackles in and keep things tight but to also get us up the pitch. Travis and Tronstad have often been a wall and a great pairing but it does then limit us going forwards. Did find it funny that Val gave a BBC interview about not wanting loans and an hour later we announce a loan signing...
  26. Im guessing that you dont think that the account is someone high up on the inside and it is just a remarkably accurate average joe who happens to both know everything and just happens to put a lovely spin on it at all to try and make the club seem like its coming up roses?
  27. A good player =/= a good captain. I'm not going to write him off as a captain just yet but based on his history of a Rovers player so far I don't see how he is a logical choice at all. Well, apart from the fact we're pushing anyone who would be a better choice out of the club.
