  1. Past hour
  2. rovers is`nt the best place to relaunch your career,it`s likely to ruin it unless you get out of the place quickly
  3. I am not bothered about that one, he is fairly injury prone (stated this the other day when he was first mentioned so its not sour grapes) If the plan is to only sign one more player (barring departures), then we need a goal machine of a right winger, something like Messi in his prime coming off the right will do 😉 As it is, Rak-Sakyi on a loan would be the stuff of dreams. We might avoid an almighty relegation scramble then
  4. It's actually crazy if Jerome is still involved. Mowbray as everyone probably knows I'm absolutely against and not a fan. But respect to the guy going to India, maybe without authorisation from Suhail? Still baffles me he tempered there alleged want to spend money. Suhail and Jerome (if the rumours are true) are the constant to fucking this club up.
  5. Closer than that Rev Stephen Horner lives in Brindle.
  6. Age and £££ tells me it was never going to
  7. Nixon doesn't think Miyoshi is happening now for what it's worth.
  8. He's only here to relaunch his career and as long as he does ok some interesting foreign job will appear and he'll be off whilst the two stoogies get a pat on the back for bringing in a bit of compo.
  9. How incompetent is our academy staff to not even think he was "that good". Unless we're lying of course.
  10. These players we’ve brought in, ismael doesn’t sign them for any other championship club if he’s in charge bar maybe the CB. He’s been given a list of 2-3 players worth peanuts and he’s prob picking best of a crap bunch. You keep saying he wants these players 😂 he has no choice with the funds he has been given.
  11. And again - my view of things, right or wrong - is that there has always been a form of a power struggle behind the scenes between two opposing camps. Mowbray and his mate Waggott managed to get their feet under the table and establish control and a degree of normality at the club for a number of years, but it looks to me like the shadow man and whoever he works for/represents/acts for patiently waited and over the last 2-3 years has managed to establish sole control again, just as he did in 2015-17 The parallels are clear - A long standing and popular manager (Bowyer/Mowbray) is removed from position, both of which once had close and positive relations with those in India, and the most senior person around the place when it happens is the curtain twitcher stooge. There's an initial 'ambitious' new regime put in place (Lambert/Irvine, Broughton/JDT) and for a short while people are quite excited and confident in the direction we are going and there's a lot of ambitious talk around the place. There's then a sudden 'change' in circumstances involving a sudden moving of the goalposts/change in budgets that undermines the ambition and leads to those people getting out of here as quickly as they can. Then a wrecking ball is taken to what was a solid competitive Championship squad, popular players bundled out the back door, tens of millions in transfer fees disappear, huge turnover in players. And inevitably we reach a point where relegation becomes highly likely once an inferior manager comes in to replace the decent one and there's little quality left in the squad to prop it up. 2023-25 is almost identical to 2015-17. We know how that ended up and we know what the constants have been during that time.
  12. It honestly makes no sense to me?! It's like he's refusing to accept how fucked me are.
  13. Tbf I was under the impression they'd lost a few for big fees. They're another Club with an American owner and the Bournmouth fans would appear to be delighted with everything he's done at the Club since he's been there.
  14. He made the least mistakes so I’ll go along with that.
  15. And, especially in the late 80s, a better quality league.
  16. I mean, at least you are considering that it might be financially restricted rather than just a case of exactly what Ismael wants. But you have just summed up that you just copy off what Ismael says/what happens. What we NEED and what we will GET are 2 different things. I am focusing on the former, you just willingly accept the latter. I said it probably was a penalty, why I would spend so much of my time following Rovers if I was anti Rovers and actively wanted penalties not to be given for us? I would accept any decisions going our way, but I am more concerned about our performance rather than pinning it all on the referee.
  17. Can you please point out where I said that I dont rate him? You are literally making things up now. Our dallying makes it much more difficult to sign him. At a push, we could pay off Mafoumbi, a further delay, and then bring him in and use a last ESC slot totally unecessarily. You are at a peak of parroting everything the club does. For one, we dont know how much Ismael rates Baradji. But yes, he did have a medical here, which he failed! So just to clarify, you would be happy to replace Travis with Baradji even if he was out for months due to surgery, simply because Ismael must rate him? No concerns? And no concerns as to the quantity of proven players we are replacing with players playing in (and often relegated from) inferior foreign leagues? Do you still think we will be top half/top 6?
  18. Eustace was the perfect bloke for what we needed. A safe pair of hands, instilled a brilliant team spirit, could organise a side and make it hard to break down, didn't give many sloppy goals away, did the simple things right. Don't try to be clever or reinvent the wheel in this league especially when you've had a high turnover in personnel on and off the pitch and no money. Just get on with it and make the most of what you've got. Bring in experience to steady the ship. Rely on the experienced senior players already at the club and get them buying into it. It worked incredibly well, unbelievably well, to go from almost self-inflicted relegation at Leicester to the top 6 in January spending next to nothing and selling Szmodics. Fantastic. Any remotely sensible club would have been giving Eustace a massive pat on the back, well done John, contract improvement time, brilliant job so far, how can we help you and make sure we keep you happy? Of course the scum that own and run this club had to dismantle that and quickly, forcing Eustace out to Derby F'ing County and ever since have been busy breaking up the squad he left behind in the top 6. With 3 weeks to go until the window closes time yet for a few more swings of the wrecking ball. Because we've got the Venky stooge and his henchman Gestede doing god only knows what at the club, instead they can gamble our league status and future on a 'project' and a head coach with a dubious and very much short term record (average tenure 20 odd games at 8 clubs). There's little reason at this early stage to have much faith in Ismael. What happened at half time against Sheffield Wed and for the 4-5 games after that meaningless now. He's got a very hard job on his hands but he signed up for this and seems content to play the game with Gestede and Pasha. All so unnecessary and it seems to me all because of behind the scenes politics and personal agendas.
  19. No surprise at the dot joining going on here as that agency and co were so heavily involved here right from the start they were never going away. The connections to India make it so so obvious i mean i think even Coyle ended up over there, i wonder how ! No surprise either that the same old lot pop up just as there are players being offloaded and recruited left right and centre and now Suhail and Gestede who came from nowhere seem to have more power than anyone since Kean and Anderson. The heart of this club truly stinks rotten again.
  20. The first BRFCS POTM this season is Sean McLoughlin for yesterday’s game against WBA. Congratulations Sean…👏👏👏⚪️🔵 MOTM template.mp4
  21. Someone who is massively invested in the club, with no interest to read them? Someone who is massively interested in transfers, not interested in the board and fans discussing budgets etc. Someone who is more interested than anyone in staff movements and even once demanded successfully that Waggott chased up putting staff profiles on the website. Not interested in staff changes being discussed. And other things. No thank you.
  22. I think he will. Rovers have offered him a new improved Contract So even if you scouted him, Ismael wants him, he had a medical here, does not count for owt? I don't agree, We can still bring him in, but you didn't rate him anyway so it doesn't matter that we might miss out on quality signing
