  1. Past hour
  2. Was it an impact injury or a pull up. I just saw him go down
  3. Apart from that.....all good though? (I agree BTW.)
  4. No, we're in the black. We're fighting against the tide.
  5. He didnt. He just talked about how he used to come up from the academy when we were a senior player short in training. Again, the blame goes to the wrong place. Broughton wasnt great but he did add some value. He made some good/very good signings and was proactive with contracts. He wasnt this disaster you made out to deflect blame away. As with every "era" or "project" it was the owners who stopped us.
  6. So, I think it was @Ossydave who said it was off because we wanted more. Sounds like he may have been on the money.
  7. As I thought, it's turning into another Stokegate.
  8. I fear Wharton maybe the next Jack Wilshere...Incredible talent but injuries will get the better...So unlucky.
  9. This transfer window has been poor. The squad is poorer than last year. The manager is a has-been that nobody else wants. The manager will be happy to be employed and pick up a wage. The chief operating officer (or whatever RGs title is) is unqualified to run this club. Pasha is totally unqualified to run a football club. The club is a basket case with a poor reputation unable to attract quality. The belief that this new model can give us promotion is naïve. The PR directed at leaving players is very sad and classless. The new alignment and model is likely to just about keep us in this league at best. Ismael will see out his contract –it would cost Pasha money to get rid. Having said that, Pasha has 2 fall guys in RG and VI. Take it lightly. They are just my thoughts. 🙂
  10. He can't catch a break as regards England can he?
  11. might have well be called that given how players they have with Rovers connections hence my tongue in cheek comment. I still don't get how good Tronstad is a player but hey ho. someone online says he is going Peterborough permanently
  12. Off injured. He's not getting that cap this month.
  13. Wharton limping off injured now. 😒
  14. Has it ever been confirmed beyond doubt that we have any sort of sell on clause? All I can remember seeing is £18m rising to a max of £24m etc.
  15. The way Man City have started the season i can see them paying that.
  16. Chaddy used the "A" word!
  17. Wrexham, massive Commercial investment from the USA and given who their owners are can attract big US companies similar with Birmingham to sponsor them. Our owners doesn't used their contacts for sponsorship/commercial revenue
  18. Really good insight, I was excited by Baradji not because I've seen him play but a lot of people have spoke about him. There's no wonder clubs were chasing him based on that data...Worry is if he can stay fit, if he can then he looks like he'll be a good'en.
  19. At least there's no worry hanging over us about potential last minute departures. With the exceptions of Hyam and Tronstad I can't imagine anyone having any interest in any of our players and there's not much noise about either leaving this window. We've already quite efficiently got rid of the assets.
  20. So... . it's a) A strategic plan to get rid of all the defeatist culture and deadwood that has brought years of "bottling" and failure b) A cost cutting exercise with obvious benefits to their (partner) agents c) A purge of players and staff, who challenged the club's lack of ambition and bullying behaviour by under-qualified senior management
  21. Not by us. Assuming Leonard goes it'll be roughly a nil net spend won't it?
  22. What would this net us? Close to an extra £20 million. (I know I know, before anyone says):
  23. Like being dead, stupidity is only painful for others.

  25. Lol. You know what I mean. If we can get into a position over the course of a season to chuck away a play off place Id be exceptionally surprised.
