I can’t think of anyone who has the flexibility to think tactically to get us out of this mess. And then build a solid team of youth and experience to compete in the championship. Oh yes. Back to the future. Sam Allardyce.

Always hurt, it seems. Tronstad, for Captain. Morishita has value, leads Rovers in assists (5). -
I want him simply for the media storm that would arrive with him.
-
Only what he did at Southampton at the same level as us with a much better squad.

Toth Miller Carter Cashin Alebiosu Baradji Tronstad Morishita Jorgensen Gudjohnson Afolayan 3-4-3 or 5-2-3 - this should be the team for the next game, drop De Neve and Cantwel, Sonny captain - Yesterday

Seen a lot of him?

I would love Rooney, or any other type of really high profile appointment that would bring extra eyes and outside scrutiny. That's why I can't see it happening.
-
I'm not sure we have a group of players for any style. We need a manager who can get us to survive this season and then oversee a complete rebuild. We would benefit from a manager with a clear vision on how they want to play.

got a free ticket for tonight's game first in months doesn't look like i have been missing much what an awful game -
That's a surprise...I thought he was fairly highly rated by some on here, though not so much I was anticipating Prem clubs stealing him. I assume we must have received a fee for that.

You are being very kind calling him clumsy ! -
I think you are also allowed to play a couple of under 21 players or something like that aren't you? Unless they changed that.
-
I believe he’s a “ playing it out from the back at all costs “ merchant. We haven’t got the players for that style.

Well we made hard fucking work of that tonight, especially considering we were 1 nil up after 12 minutes against the worst side in the league, who have minus 7 points and 1 win all season. In fairness I do think Wednesday put a shift in. They battled like they were fighting for their lives, even though they're long dead. I guess they're playing without pressure though, and for pride. I was surprised they never let their heads drop though, respect. They've been losing regularly but not often by large margins. The lack of enthusiasm from fans and players at the final whistle told a story. We hobbled home against a poor side, when we were hoping for a resounding win to boost our morale in time for a crucial game against Norwich. I'm not convinced this is going to be enough to change our momentum. But anything short of a win would have been a death sentence. -
No way they're appointing Rooney imo. Balaji might briefly fancy it as a glamour appointment but it'd quickly be knocked back by everyone else. The eyes of the World would be on us and could you imagine him or Gerrard managing in League 1? It'd be an absolute circus.

He did look very clumsy when he came on tonight. Don't think he's ready to start again yet. -
He ticks a lot of boxes if the main criteria is he has to be French or a French speaker, other than that I wouldn't agree.
-
Wouldn't be averse to still but i genuinely don't think Rooney should be totally ruled out. It's just the typical thing one of the Indian owners might do if they get wind he's interested. Big name to trumpet about back in India where most of em are Man U fans. Plus he works cheap if he really wants the job and will probably agree to walk for nothing if it doesn't work. He's a live one for sure.

Younger, on decent money, think they saw him as someone who they expected to become the main centre half. -

Don't know if TV picked it up but Miller crashed into the hoarding right in front of us, got up and just ran back on,not a flinch. Him and Cashin are 2 players for a relegation battle, Cashin man of the match for me, cracking signing in our position. Painful but we got there, Carter got 60 minutes, Gudjonson and Alebiosu got a rest and Ohashi got an even longer one. Strange team selection it could be said for a game we had to win, but maybe made more with Saturday in mind. -

Will have signed an NDA. He'll be happy as Larry. Has absolutely stunk the place out for 12 months and walks away with a massive pay off.
