  1. Past hour
  2. 🎣 Don't be daft. Enjoy yourself and respect those that stay away are doing it for the same reason you cite too.
  3. Thanks mate, I really appreciate it.
  4. I try extremely hard not to tell people whether they should attend Ewood or not, its personal choice and many fans have personal reasons for going above and beyond the owner protests, posters should keep that in mind! We all want the same thing, or at least many do, a new chapter in Rovers history without those rats from Pune. That day will come, make no mistake, its only a matter of time. VENKYS OUT - NOTHING ELSE MATTERS
  5. They won't ever get that figure and i don't think there's ever been an asking price quoted. Better ask Glen Mullen or someone whose had dialogue with some of them but i believe that figure has been banded about. Problem is Venkys London Limited is a 150 million subsiduary on the VH group balance sheet. Sell the club for what it's worth, 20 million or so and what happens to the balance sheet ?
  6. The football club equivalent of Baby P.
  7. Lesley Gore - It’s My Party
  8. Based on the last 15 years, its crazy to even believe that and anticipate that. And that wouldnt be disproven even if he was.
  9. Same RTID that was saying he wasn’t going to any more games about, err, two weeks ago.
  10. If the Rovers was a child, social services would have been alerted a long time ago for the clear and obvious signs of neglect. Anyone can see how the club's association with football is only peripheral to whatever 'business' is actually transacted behind the scenes - it is an irrelevance and an inconvenient historical legacy that allows something else to go on without proper scrutiny. The contempt with which the decent folk of Blackburn are treated by the owners is nauseating - makes me incandescent to think they are not challenged by the so called authorities for their sad little game. VENKYS OUT!
  11. That's understandable Carl and I hope everything is well after recent events. I wish you well for Christmas and New Year. Hopefully you will be over for a game or 2 in the new year
  12. Thats a bit harsh actually as plenty subscribe to Rovers TV and watch from abroad. I live in Spain and simply can’t get to many matches, but pay my subscription and watch that way.
  13. I'm deffo going. Backing the players and team. Nothing better than being at Ewood Park supporting the players and team. Lets bring those 3 points home today. COYB🔵⚪️
  14. Chimp is based in Sweden, do you expect him to jet over every week?
  15. Today
  16. Making it through high school with the name Dick is achievement enough. Some effort making it to a century.
  17. Hope you enjoy it, in your armchair, while the loyal few try and keep Blackburn Rovers in business.
  18. I'm going, because I'm born and bred in Blackburn, no doubt you'll be nice and warm in your armchair watching it on the box.
  19. I hate modern technology, bring back the old days, pay at the gate, watch the match.
  20. Millwall have a midfield crisis at the moment, If we can outplay them in midfield, we've every chance of getting a result.
  21. That’s Crawley making 100 caps then… with an average of 31. Lucky lad.
  22. Bang on. Crawley played very well. I would be very tempted to bring Langer in as Test head coach after this ashes series, speaks so well. Experience coach and knows Test cricket. I see Flintoff and Swann have been coaching the England Lions squad recently and I think its someone we need to continue doing.
  23. They paid just over £21 million for the club which was about x 1.3 net assets at the time. IF they wrote of the debt owed to them (£134 million) the club’s net assets as of 31/3/24 would be £17.65 million. £17.65 million x 1.3= £22.95 million as the ‘right’ sales price. How they could justify £100 million is beyond me.
  24. Surely Pope's test career won't continue now. is Jacob Bethall ready for the next test to bat there?
  25. Ducketts 97 runs from 111 balls looks like a fine score indeed until you realise that's spread over 6 innings.
  26. Another six goals today in games involving our under 18's which (from looking at the table) means 49 goals in the ten league games we have played. Once again we started really quickly (something I wish the first team would do) and took the lead through Harvey Higgins who was playing at centre forward. He did miss a really easy chance to put us further ahead as we were well on top. The second half continued in a similar vein and a really clever finish from McCoy and a tap in from Clanford gave us what should have been an insurmountable lead but, just like the recent cup match with Bolton we took our eye off the ball and allowed Forest back into the match. At 3-2 there we were hanging on but another tap in from Wilkinson (his first touch after coming on) in stoppage time allowed us some breathing space to see the game out. For the majority of the game we were the better side but Paul Butler will have seen enough for him to work on the players complacency when getting into a comfortable lead. They are youngsters and still learning but I think the message to them will be loud and clear.
